We had dinner at the Panda Garden while on an overnight in May, 2023. They were located next door to a motel we were spending the night at. We ate in the restaurant on a week night. We found the staff to be friendly, but not overly friendly. Service was quite quick considering there were a good amount of customers at the time we were visiting.

This place is OK. It’s hard to be honest and not sound too critical but I’ll try. First, the folks there are friendly and service was good…nothing to complain about. The food was good, too…but lacked flavor and presentation. Now, I’m not saying that the presentation at a Chinese restaurant needs to be five-star quality but it just lacked visual appeal. The flavor was OK, just not remarkable.

I prefer take out at this place. The meats and veggies along with soups are good. noodles however I will not order here. It’s like spaghetti. Lunch specials are great, and they offer it 6 days a week. Good food.

We were on our way to LA and stopped at Needles for the night. The kids were hungry and we wanted something quick. I looked around and found panda garden a stone throw distance from the hotel. I walked into the establishment to order food but it looked like they were busy and no one asked me if I was there to dive or take out so I picked up a menu and called them from outside the place. They picked up the phone promptly and took my order. I asked them how long and the response was 20 minutes. I waited for over 40 minutes for the food. We ordered the low mein, fried rice and egg rolls and it was good. The god tasted pretty decent. Overall good place to visit.

Great selection of traditional Chinese dishes. They allowed me to add broccoli to my selection (beef, pepper and onions) that didn’t include it. Decent meal with very fast service. Not a fancy place, but clean.

I call this “Americanized” Chinese food. The lunch specials are a good value. The stir fry seemed a bit too sweet for my taste. This seemed to be the case with my dining companion’s dish as well. Over all, the food was ok, and the service was good.
