Was visiting a client who wanted to eat at the Panda Garden for lunch. Simple Chinese food place that was almost full for lunch. Enjoyed hot green tea with egg drop soup, spring roll and spicy chicken with steamed rice. Good service also.

Let me just start off by saying that this restaurant has been here since I moved to the area as a kid back in 2003. I recently moved back to the area and the quality of food and fast service is STILL amazing. I’m happy to have a location like this nearby and that Panda Garden continues to be consistent! Don’t hesitate to eat here if you haven’t already, truly a neighborhood gem.

The food was delicious. Lemon chicken, Mmmm, especially the sauce. Beef & broccoli very good. Most places I have been to, their beef was spongy. Not this place. The beef was cooked just right. We are coming back to this place.

This restaurant use to be amazing years ago but now the quality and freshness is really really bad. i ordered 3 different dinner portions for friends visiting and the chicken was really dry and rubbery. (Chicken with garlic sauce, Kung pao chicken and general Tso’s chicken. Usually chicken gets dried because it’s old and is repeatedly being heated. Last few visits were hit or miss and more misses but just wanted to give it one last try. Sometimes meat smells and other times the chicken is too dry. I have tried to tell the restaurant but they really don’t care. Not worth the money and time.

Panda Garden has been around forever, and it’s the best Chinese food I’ve ever eaten. I get pepper steak with fried rice. The staff is friendly and prompt. For two people, the total was $36. I got the dinner option instead of the lunch option. The lunch comes with soup and your choice of a spring roll or crab puff. The crab puffs here are the best by the way!

Went to the Eldridge location last week and had the strangest experience. Usually when i show up to pickup my order the staff at front is very friendly, full of smiles… This time however, i went in with my wife to pickup our order. My wife is Mexican with high cheek bones and is sometimes confused to be Asian and I’m Jamaican. When we walked in they looked offended. They lady at front walked away turning her back not wanting to help. The man at register looked mad, didn’t say welcome, thank you or anything. Really weird vibe. Obviously they thought my wife was Asian and didn’t like the fact that she was with me.Been coming here with my family since the mid 90s. NOT ANYMORE! Not only that but the quality and quantity of food has changed. Chewy beef with my Pepper Steak, and the General Tso chicken was hard. I dont expect to be treated that way after spending $98.

Pretty standard little Chinese place in a strip center, but the food is done well. Nice lunch special. Had general tso and Hunan chicken, each of which were good. Spring roll was no good (filling bland and wrapper under-cooked), but the crab puffs are excellent. The staff is very friendly, and you could tell there were numerous regulars who seemed to receive a warm welcome. I will be back.
