The service was good but the food was a disappointment. The chicken was very dry, not to mention the chowmein I don’t know if it was leftover from day before or it wasn’t cook properly. Waste of $60 will not eat here again.

This location is very consistent with flavors and food efficiency. Very rarely they run out of items. The location has the perfect balance of cozy and spacious at this restaurant. The friendly staff tirelessly attend to food trays while greeting guests and rush to get your order going. I received my order promptly and with ease. The food was absolutely fresh and delicious – a testament to their excellent customer service. My favorite things to order are honey walnut shrimp, orange chicken, fried rice, chow main, and the veggie rolls!

The food tastes like any other panda express. It can at times be better than others …it’s is always busy at lunch and dinner time … orange chicken is my favorite. My kids love it and it is a treat for them when we head into kona for shopping

BY FAR MY MOST FAVORITE PANDA EXPRESS IN THE USA!!!! THE HONEY WALNUT SHRIMP WAS SO FRESH AND DELICIOUS! I HAD TO BUY A 2ND BOX! CLEAN AND FRIENDLY PLACE! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! THANK YOU!!!

My husband and I both got a 1 choice bowl with just Fried Rice and Honey Walnut Shrimp. It was $12.30 for each bowl. It was not worth it. The “bowl” had barely enough rice to fill the bottom and only 5 ½ pieces of shrimp. Unfortunately my video makes it look like there was more than what was actually there. I am a small woman of only 5 feet tall and 100 pounds. This didn’t fill me up at all. This is the only Chinese restaurant in Kailua-Kona that skimps on the amount of food they put in your plate. Also we didn’t get fortune cookies. The food itself is very good though. That’s the only reason why I’m giving 3 stars.

Ordered Broccoli Beef and Chicken Teriyaki with fried rice yesterday. Broccoli was under cooked and I got the squirts immediately after eating. Didn’t upchuck but appetite is off and I still feel queasy 22 hours later. Large portions though.

You WILL get food poisoning if you eat here. Food cold and soggy. Ultimate burger is one door down please go there instead

I frequently go to this location and have never had any problems. However I went a few days ago and they opened 10 minutes late. Which wasn’t super frustrating. I worked in food service for awhile and understand that you sometimes need a few extra minutes to open. However, I ordered chow mein and Beijing beef and a few hours later I was throwing up and had diarrhea for 24 hours. Like I said before, never had an issue with this location but I would recommend a health department walk through as I’ve seen another review recently (within the past week) of someone else getting food poisoning at this location.

Some of the broccoli was mushy because it had been sitting a long time. Besides that decent food.

I’m Chinese and was impressed. I always get nervous eating Chinese fast food places outside my hometown. But it tasted better than expected. I was happy they had tofu.
