I’ve been to this Panda Express multiple times so far. The food is okay but seems inconsistent. Today my Orange Chicken was really crunchy or hard as a rock for some of the pieces I was trying to eat. I was eating around 3:30pm so maybe I was eating chicken from hours ago? The other issue I see more than anything is the service is incredibly slow. I was the only one in line and waited almost 5 minutes before someone finally asked me what I wanted. There is also an issue I see with certain managers. One got right on things and told me someone would be with me soon and assigned someone to get my order on one occasion. The other manager they have actually pulled the cashier aside to talk about someone that was complaining about how slow the line was…. I wonder why? I stared at them and my food for a good 2 to 3 minutes while the two ladies talked… Management needs a rework and workers need priorities set so they don’t have three or four people standing around during busy times.

The server was very friendly & polite! My adult granddaughter & I met for lunch here. The food was delicious & the serving size was more than enough! Employees came by our table several times to make sure if our food was good or if we needed anything. I highly recommend!

Very long wait since it just opened, but the food was great. I was told the chicken potstickers are not served at this location, despite being on the menu.

As this is an early review, it is subject to edit. The Pekin Panda Express has been open less than a month, so there are understandably still a few kinks to work out.

Terrible service. Portions were less than half the size compared to other Pandas. After eating half our meal, the employee said my card didn’t go through, even though it said approved on my end. Also when the employee was bringing out our egg roll that we were were waiting on, she wiped her nose with the same hand she was carrying the egg roll with. Definitely won’t be back to this Panda

Absolutely no reason to go here until they get workers trained or process figured out. Food quality is not there and the wait is terrible. It would be quicker to sit down at an actual chinese restaurant. Or if you’re dead set on Panda, drive to East Peoria, itll also be quicker.

Absolutely HORRIBLE. I walked in and everyone treated me as I was invivible for the first 10 minutes I was standing there. I ordered ahead of time mind you And I watched about a dozen people walk in and out with their orders before anyone even talked to me. After an hour of sitting there waiting for my food I came home to not eat a single bit of it because it was all either overcooked or just absolutely disgusting.

Disclaimer: my better half is obsessed with the honey sesame chicken here. As a result I’ve made multiple trips recently.

I gave this place the benefit of the doubt when they were running out of food on opening day. My husband went back a few days later and they charged him for food he did not get. Today I drove up at 10:45am and was told “we’re getting a late start this morning, the wait will be 30-45min”. Are you kidding me?? If you open at 10:30am, there shouldn’t be a wait at all and all the food should be fresh. This is ridiculous. You’re not going to last long if you keep this up. Just like the Maid Rite that was there before you. Get it together. Until you do, I’ll go ahead and go to East Peoria.
