First time eating here and was impressed. Food was good, salsa was great (a roasted warm salsa). Restaurant was semi-busy, but we had some waits for food, tortillas, drink refills, which detracted a little from the whole experience.

I usually like this place. I hadn’t been here in a year. Ordered the Panchito plate. 2 enchiladas, beef chalupa, side of beef fajitas with rice and beans. Disappointed to receive processed fajitas I could buy ready made at HEB, my chalupa was a soggy cheap crispy tortilla…spent way too much for drinks and food to leave Disappointed.

The menu had multiple plates of authentic Mexican cuisines. Prices were very reasonable. Service was superb. Waiting time was less than 20 seconds for a table. My friend was in a wheelchair so we had a great place to be seated. Will surely return. Thanks for the experience of your restaurant.

Just had a great breakfast / lunch at Panchitos. We had Menudo, enchiladas, chilaquiles, and chorizo all la Mexicana. Everything was delicious, but there was a wait to be seated so if they offer,call ahead, do it. The restaurant was clean, well staffed, and they were polite and professional.

So first off, want to say Chris was a fantastic server. As soon as we sat down we had waters and a few minutes after that drinks. I was kind of blown away by how fast we were served to be honest. Not in the sense we were rushed. I just know he was busy on a Friday night, but he could’ve fooled me with how quick he was.

Open late. A little bite of a wait but bar window is open for waiting. Good is ok. Fajitas leave a lot to be desired. Burgers are good. Enchiladas are meh. If you’re from Houston, this is not our norm Tex Mex but it’ll do. 🙂

Idk what happened to the food here. I got the Mexican plate with cheese enchiladas and beef fajita. The fajita meat tastes absolutely horrible like fake meat. It was chewy and disgusting. Wouldn’t even feed this to my dog. Panchitos used to be good but like all things I guess that time has come to an end.

I order at least 3x a week and the food is always great! The to go staff is friendly and fast. In most places, customer service is declining and many times orders are wrong/ incomplete. Not at Panchito’s! Always a great experience and no mark ups on prices! This review doesn’t fully express how impressed and satisfied I am with The Original Panchito’s. Thank you for fast, quality service!

Food was delicious, service was horrible. Our waitress took our order without writing anything down, 30 minutes later a different server comes up and tells us they lost our ticket. All the people that came in after us were already eating while we were still waiting for our food. We ordered menudo , street tacos and a barbacoa plate – nothing too complex that needed to take so long. They never brought chips and salsa until 45 min later when we asked if they were going to bring some out. The server disappeared for so long we could probably walk out without paying and she would take a while to realize. I don’t know if I should give this place another chance or not.
