As we travel, we try to support local restaurants. This is definitely one of those local places the community supports! It was busy, but that did not affect the quality of service or food. The portion sizes are big for breakfast. The hash browns had the perfect amount of crispiness but not overcooked. The apple pancake was fluffy and tasted great!

Great stop on our journey for a hearty breakfast. Clean, fast, friendly service and they even have postcards! We had the eggs, bacon and potatoes. The bacon was thick, crispy and so tasty. The potatoes stole the show though. Freshly peeled, fried, and seasoned just right, just like at grandmas house! We had the pecan pancakes, chocolate chip pancakes and strawberry pancakes and they did not disappoint. What was disappointing was they weren’t serving their house special, the apple pancake that day. I was really looking forward to that. The coffee was also not bad and my cup stayed full.

I’ve always met a new kind face when I stop in for breakfast. Not to mention the owner is the sweetest, perkiest, upbeat lady in the area AND the staff I’d cool, patient, quick, and attentive. Get the big crazy pancake with the apples in it. Finish it and get your name on the TV. It ain’t Broadway, BUT IT’S A LITTLE FAME and you gotta start SOMEWHERE!

Love this place. They have truck parking with plenty of room. The wait time is very minimal. The food is great and cooked proper. The waitresses are on point and very sweet. Overall great place to get some breakfast.

We had been driving all night and were ready for a stop with food. I didn’t think we were going to arrive in time to eat here but when we were driving by I saw their lot packed. So we stopped in and asked if we were too late. We were greeted warmly and taken immediately to our table.

The pancake capital in the USA. Liberal Kansas is know for their pancakes and the great wizard of Oz. Prior to Dorthy catching a ride on a tornado, she made sure to stop by at the pancake house for the long haul to the great world of Oz. My breakfast was delicious but the pancakes certainly need to live up to the expectation of greatness. Add carbonate water to the mix and see them rise to the occasion

Was stuck here at the airport because of weather and when I asked where the best place for breakfast was in Liberal everyone said Pancake House. They were not wrong, great home style omelettes and a tasty biscuits and gravy. My girlfriend had the same omelette(J C Omelette) as me and banana pancakes that she said were delicious and tasted as if she had made them herself.
