04/02 This was our first night here. I’ve been craving Afghanistan Food for a while. The food was amazing. The chief is a genius at making any dish or dessert with a crust very light and fluffy! Never heavy or greasy!! If you want truly good Afghani Food, give this place a try! You’ll love it!!

Stopped here on a chilly night in La Jolla, looking for something different. I tried the Kofta Chalow, meatballs slowly cooked in tomato puree and peas, served with rice and greens. It was a generous portion, and tasty. The rice was perfect and the onions on the salad were fresh and very good. I finished the entire platter and was glad that I had stopped in. You’ll be glad too!

Such delicious Afghan food. The Lamb Khoorma with spinach was something else. Next time we will try the Chupan kabob. Great service and great restaurant
