We were in town looking for that unusual spot to stop, that “hole in the wall” stop that you’ll remember and always go back to… while this didn’t turn out to be that place for us, it was a quaint little place and isn’t unfair in what it looks like it offers – cheap food that is a grade above fast food but not like dining in a 5-star restaurant. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the dining area was old but clean.

Always passed by and was curious. Today we stopped between 3-4pm. We walked into the musty stale smelling dining room, lights not on and no air circulation. My fiance ordered the surf and turf dinner salad that comes with fries on the salad, per menu. Came without fries and waitress said it was a “misprint on the menu” instead of admitting a mistake and correcting it. I pulled menu up online and showed her before she offered to bring fries. My fries and his were not fresh, but crinkle cut frozen. My Fish tasted like it was frozen for a while. Bread was regular sliced Italian like you get from Aldi’s, and the Splenda packs on the table were solid hard rectangles from absorbing the moisture that made the air musty. There were water marks in the ceiling tiles from leaks. I understand places having difficulty after shutdowns, but seems they just don’t care. fast food is fresher with better quality. We will never stop here again.

Our golf league has been stopping in weekly and some weekends and Heather is a great bartender/waitress and we get our food quickly after placing the order and it’s always good and the prices are reasonable too. Definitely recommend!!

We used to love going to Palombos. However, after our last experience, we will not be returning. From our seat, we could see into the kitchen. When the cook dropped food from a bulk-bag on the floor, he proceeded to pick it up, return the food to the bag, and put the bag back in the freezer. If that wasn’t bad enough, he then kept cooking without washing his hands. We brought this up to our waitress who said she would address it with him, but it was not addressed during our visit. We were very disappointed and frankly disgusted by the actions taken by the cook and we will not be returning.
