Went here for dinner and must say that the food was really great. We had 3 starters and 2 main dishes and they were all very well prepared and the presentation was great as well. This place was less crowded, yummy food and great service.

This was my favorite meal in New Orleans!! Every single thing we tried was delicious. We had the brussel sprouts, rib tips, corn babies and the goat curry special. Each item was a burst of flavors and just exceptional. The food was so good, we forgot to drink our cocktails until after we’d finished, and the cocktails were good too!! Can’t wait to come back here! Will definitely recommend to anyone visiting.

Overall this restaurant was good but it’s the little things that stood out for me that prevented it from being great. Service was great, atmosphere was really warm and inviting. Two not so great things that stood out: first, tequila & mezcal are the spirits of focus and and there’s some great selections, but if you’re serving great tequilas you have to pour them in the right glassware. I ordered two quality tequilas and they were served in shot glasses. Much like wine, you want to swirl and smell tequila which wasn’t practical with shot glasses. Second, for the main dish I ordered the wagyu bistec which was cooked perfectly and flavorful with a side of the rice & beans but was overwhelmed with huge chunks of onions. They compromised about a quarter of the plate and didn’t offer much other than flavor. For a main dish there should have been other ways to incorporate it, either remove them or blend them into a sauce. My highlights were the blistered habanadas appetizer and palm & pain cocktail (perfect balance of bourbon and mezcal). Next time I’m in town, I will definitely check this place out again.

Stopped by for a late night dinner. Enjoyed the Quail (pictures below with a side of pointer finger), the pan seared gulf fish, the War of the Legs, and the Yes We Have a Spicy Margarita. Would definitely go back again for a meal and beverages. The staff was very friendly and accommodating for letting us sit at the bar, good suggestions on the food and drink.

So glad we had a rainy day so I took the time to look to see if any high rated restaurants were near our hotel. This place is a true gem. Incredible food but in a very relaxed atmosphere. Staff were all so nice and welcoming, but in a very down-to-earth way. I highly recommend this restaurant, even if you have to take an Uber to get here. And check out the picture of the salad. Incredible. And the fish was absolutely perfect.

Cute place. We loved the pimiento cheese and ugh the crudo with shrimp chips… bomb. The host in front was so kind, even brought some simple syrup over because I love a sugary caipirinha. Friend mentioned this was the best Paloma she’s ever had.

On a crawl about the Quarter I definitely wanted to stop in for a cocktail and food to try out this spot. Luckily there were two seats open at the bar around 7pm on a weekend so I felt pretty lucky! Living right, eh? I would definitely recommend a reservation if you plan to eat a full dinner.

Great food, kind staff, and long waits for food on a Sunday evening — I take it to mean the place is well loved, but it was still a bit longer than would have been ideal. Once it got here though? Absolutely top notch food.
