I lived in Pennsylvania but my family lived in Connecticut. I called the restaurant a week prior my visit I ordered a dozens of Haitian pâté. I spoke with owner she told me I can pick them up at 1pm. I went there and waited 20 minutes to find out there was no pâté. they were rude to me. I asked to speak with owner, I was told she was busy.

Food is really good but the service is a nightmare, they don’t give you more foods and their foods are expensive than other else, the worst is: when You call to place the order, after 15 max. You call back to make sure your order is ready to pickup because they will never call you to let you know if the order is ready, they ask you what was your order and they said the food is not ready or the order doesn’t place, parking enforcement tried to give me ticket because of them. When you call to get your order even if you were placing it for 15 or half hour, you have to wait until you give up. The nightmare is everytime I het my order they always forget to give me my full order they forget the sauce, the beans, summer slaw etc.. they don’t care. In my life I never see a Haitian Restaurant like that, they don’t care and careless. They don’t realised of you went far to coming when they let you forget something they said, so you can come back. Those Peope need to close anyway. Because they don’t care about people health.

I live in NYC but was in Norwalk waiting for a friend to get out of work. Not being so familiar with the area, I walked around looking for something good to eat. I just happened to see this place from across the street! They were so kind and made me feel welcomed. I had the goat with rice&peas and it was AMAZING! I love having the option of mild or spicy as well! It was a great portion as well. The place is very cozy and comfortable. I can’t wait to go again!

Palmis Kitchen is the best Haitian restaurant in the state of Connecticut! The Goat plate is extremely delicious! The fried pork as us Haïtien called it “Griot” is excellent. The fried pork literally took me back to Haiti on the first bite. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Very good Haitian food! The owner is very polite. Even though they take a great deal of time before serving the food, I don’t mind

So far the best Haitian food in Norwalk, CT. You might have to wait for a minute or 2 for the fried plantains, as they want it to be fresh, and it will be worth it. Rule #1 of Haitian fried plantains it has to be fresh. Their customer service is on point, they are very nice and always welcoming. I can’t wait to go back and eat some more of the fried plantain & goat. May God bless this business always, always.
