The food is delicious! No question about that. For two people we ordered a pizza as an appetizer and two entrees. The quality and authenticity of the ingredients definitely shows in each plate. The only thing I thought could be improved was service. We didn’t get as much timely attention from our server as we would have liked, and we noticed other tables were having issues with timing of plates as well. Felt like being back in Italy, where 1+ hour dinners are the norm.

Heard a lot about this place so expectations were high. I guess it depends who the pizzaiolo is, but it did not meet my expectations. Pizza Palmina was overly done and too crispy, definitely not a pizza I’d come back for. For the price you pay I’m expecting a more “Neapolitan” style dough.

AMAZING! We’ve eaten tons of Italian food throughout Italy (and I mean tons, both north and south). This dinner absolutely knocked our socks off. The ambience is unremarkable and the aesthetic if pretty bare bones. But who cares? The FOOD was incredible! We had the house made bucatini with bolognese (9/10) the spicy salami pizza with burrata (9.5/10) and the Carbonara Show which was among the best pasta we’ve ever eaten (10/10). The service was also friendly and charming—would recommend taking any group of date to this restaurant, and we will definitely be back. Overall 9.5/10 FANTASTIC!

omg! DO NOT listen to those negative reviews! They’re crazy! service was fantastic from start to finish. portions were just fine! we had left overs! The food was fresh and delicious! The drinks were also strong and delicious! Can’t wait to go back to try more things! Husband and I both had pasta and shared a pizza! We had no room for desert! Maybe next time!

Underrated. Had an excellent, authentic Italian meal at Palmina. The flavors and textures were incredible. It was hard to choose a favorite dish; truly there was no weak link. If we had to pick nits, we would say the pizza crust is a litttttle bit salty, but the texture of it was phenomenal. Our servers were attentive, personable, and helpful. If we were locals, we would eat here once a week. Grazie mille, Palmina!

Sam is the most wonderful person! My husband and I had the best time. Thank you for the amazing food and best service ever. All the staff are amazing honestly, so kind and caring, we felt like home. Sam we love you! The owner was there too and he looks like AJ from the Backstreet Boys and that makes it even better. Thank you for the incredible food too! Homemade pasta and burreta are delicious!!! Love you all

The best meal I’ve had in Palm Springs and honestly maybe the best Italian I’ve had outside of Italy. Their olive oil is to die for. The chef can barely speak English, only Italian. It’s that real!! INCREDIBLE MEAL! (They do need to work on the decor—I hope they hire an interior designer!)

The service is amazing and food is authentic and high quality ingredients ! We did have to ask for bread 3 times because they only bring 4 little pieces at a time … pasta was great, the eggplant parmigiana somehow heavy but tasty! Glass of wine was amazing but pricy ! Tiramisu is a must and definitely the best in the experience! Ambiance is great !

It pains me to write this review. I am all about supporting the mom and pop shops, but I just can’t on this one. The food and the service do not match the pricing. Both are subpar. Pasta portions are ridiculously small with outrageous pricing. If you like over priced, tiny portion (child size) secret market priced (price not disclosed on the menu) $49 pasta than this is your place. The pizza is also secret market pricing. The pizza prices are not listed on the menu. You talk about a bait and switch. A small pizza can run you $29 – $45 each. They are no frills pizzas. There are other places in town where you can get an authentic Italian pizza without the overpriced, secret market pricing. Beware of the unethical practices of this restaurant. All menu prices should be disclosed upfront. Most people don’t ask about the pricing because nobody expects these outrageous prices. I don’t think they will be around long if they continue these unscrupulous practices. The owners seem’s really nice, but I have lost all trust.
