Birthday Dinner 8/3/23 was awesome!! Super Busy but service was great !!! After reading several reviews we are the patrons complained about the food. I was a little skeptical, but there were a lot of other good reviews. Here’s what I found.

This new restaurant has amazing food and drinks are good. The waitress was very nice the whole time. The only reason they are a 4/5 is that they are super busy right now and are very strict on the time limit for your table which is 2.5 hours, for a bigger group it can be hard to follow that. They were still very accommodating for us but they seemed a little annoyed that we stayed the full 2.5 hours, they were giving us the check after 30 minutes of being there. But I’m not too upset about it, it is the summer, and I will most likely be back because of the beautiful atmosphere and good food, hopefully they slow down and remove the time limit eventually

Absolutely love this place! Cabo San Lucas Mexican tequila cuisine. Long list of craft cocktails and craft margaritas which. Best new restaurant in Newport Beach, CA. Can’t wait to go back!

Had dinner here when we got into town and we’re walking around Newport. To my amazement they were able to seat us immediately though the dinner crowd had clearly gotten started. Food is amazing, lots of creative dishes as well as twists on classics sure to delight. Service started strong but we were soon forgotten about – everyone friendly but also forgetful; it was probably 10 minutes between when they had an answer to a question about the menu to when they actually returned to take our order. We would see our server but he would take something from another table – sometimes even the one right next to us – and disappear for another little while. They have delicious tortillas made in house with 3 delicious toppings (red salsa, avocado tomatillo, and honey butter), but our party of 4 was served only 3 of them initially. It took 3 separate requests for more from 3 different people who came to the table before we received more, and the table next to us got 3 orders of them in the same span. We were then charged for 2 additional orders even though we only had gotten the 1 extra. The atmosphere is amazing and the food equally so, but service needs some help. They just opened a few days ago so I would blame it on still in shake down cruise mode but I think it may have just been a fluke with our meal. Would definitely try again.
