While in town for business, my husband and I stopped in here for a Friday fish fry, but ended up getting a build your own pizza because they were all sold out of fish by 7:00. We sat at the sunken bar, which has a duct taped rail and torn leather seats. It’s obvious this well-worn place is well loved by the locals, as it filled up pretty quickly after dinner. Our bartender was friendly, service was fairly quick, and our food came out hot. This place is nothing fancy, but it’s fine for a beer and quick bite!

We have been eating here once a week for 2 years. Owners are incompetent. The kitchen ruins this place. So sad how much this place has gone downhill. The kitchen staff pretty much runs the place and makes the calls. They decide when they’re done making food or if they want to. The owners treat their staff who are the reason people come here like garbage and talk to them like trash. The food is good when they want to do good but it’s really disappointing how the staff are treated. This place will close sad to say if the owners do not change their behaviors and treat people better. Shame on you guys.

I came in on a whim. I was in the area for another reason but realized I was an hour early for it. The service was good and the food, delicious. The extra spicy bloody mary was perfect. I ordered the patty melt with tots and it was great.

Reality Check
It was late when I got there, and it was a weekday so there weren’t many people there. The staff was very friendly. Its clean, has a pool table and a dance floor. I didn’t eat or pay for my drinks so I can’t attest to the quality of food or the prices of the drinks but I would definitely recommend this place for a small celebration or just a friendly place to hang out and chill.

Never going back here. I’m always at the Palmer house but tonight the server told my friend her I’d uwas fake and that black people don’t deserve to be here. Omg never in my life. I am just appalled about what just happened. I also being there she made it an absolutely pleasure to be at that establishment. That lady Rachel was definitely in the wrong tonight and should be let go. Smh what a night that lady is racist and crazy. The new server didn’t know what to do.
