This place really surprised me! It is adorable inside, very well decorated! The food is delicious but what really caught my attention was the environment between the people… it felt like a big family and everyone was so friendly!!! You won’t regret stopping by Paladar, best Cuban food in town!

This is a pretty cool little spot off A1A. A bunch of my friends came here quite a few times while staying at a rental home nearby but I only visited once. Here’s what I think:

I went twice before writing a review. I’m a huge fan of Cuban food. So why 3 stars? Let’s break it down!

Paladar Cuban Eatery is a must go to when in town! The staff are friendly and welcoming once you step in the door. My daughter and I had a hard time choosing exactly what to order because it all looked so good. I did order the El Cubano sandwich. The bread was crunchy, and enough to fill me up! There was a spice in the sandwich that I couldn’t quite place but it was delicious. We also got the Chorizo and Manchego empanadas. Those were crispy on the outside and filled with a wonderful meat filling. Since we have an early morning flight home we got to-go the Banana Nut Muffin and a croissant. They look to die for!

Friends have been raving about this place for months, and I finally tried them out today. I’m sorry I waited so long! I purchased some bakery items to go, and they were delicious! I came late in the day, about 2pm, so they were out of the guava items (my faves!) so go early if you want the full selection of baked goods.

Absolutely amazing food, not a single thing was bad. 4 people, the Frita Cabana was the best sandwich I have had in a long time. The family enjoyed every bite. You have got to try it if in the Butler Beach/St. Augustine Beach area.

The steak sandwich was okay, but the Cuban sandwich has more flavor. I can tell that that steak is marinated, but the sandwich was missing something. Also, the onions weren’t caramelized. The coffee was very good, though.

Excellent place, customer service and great food. This location is very clean and comfortable. I have the pleasure to meet one of the owners and she provided me an exceptional customer service. I ordered the ‘croqueta’ sandwich and ‘mariquitas’ (fried plantain) and it was sooooo good! Also, the ‘café con leche’ made by the girl was so delicious. Come and visit this unique place. You will love it. For the staff, thank you so much!
