The menu is large with a healthy, Greek flair. There were many traditional American diner foods as well. I had the Greek Fries which was really, really good. It was well worth the short drive from I-70 to get way from the fast food joints. We were charging our electric car at Walmart when we decided to look around for a little better quality food. We found it at The Palace.

A cozy local Greek restaurant with plenty of other choices on their menu. I had a Greek salad and their Shish-kabob- both of which were very good. My son enjoyed their whole catfish dinner and my sister liked their clam dinner. My niece had the chicken bites and we all enjoyed mozzarella sticks for an appetizer. Main Street in Boonville is very inviting. Would love to come back and stay at the Hotel Frederick.

They didn’t have enough staff for Mothers Day lunch, but our waitress told us a waitress was out that day because she was in the hospital in labor, so that is understandable. The salad bar was a little disappointing as the bowls were very small, and the cost didn’t justify the “one trip only” to the salad bar. We waited a long time for our food, and when my burger arrived, I asked for ketchup. After I had waited about 5-7 minutes, I decided to go to the back where the kitchen was. I saw our waiter literally standing behind the tray full of ketchup bottles, and he never looked up as I approached. I just took one of the bottles and went back to my seat. He never said anything or made any visual contact with me. Why they wouldn’t have ketchup already on the tables at a place like this is beyond me.

Stopped in for dinner after being on i70 for a while and was quite impressed with the aire of this little restaurant, very comfortable and the food was definitely not done by a fry cook. We had a steak dinner and a kabob dinner, if this is their standard you won’t be disappointed.

not crazy about the salad bar, but they have fries like mcdonalds, which i loved. they actually taste a little better (omg great when dipped in gravy!). fried chicken tenders are awesome as well. and nothing ties it all together like a buttery slice of texas toast. first time dining at this restaurant and i was quite satisfied. did a panorama of the interior, say hi to my folks and daughter lol. Thumbs up to this place.

I always enjoy eating at The Palace in Boonville, MO. The food is always good. If you are in a hurry to get in and out then this is not the place to go. This is a place where you can enjoy being able to eat and hold a conversation.
