The food is amazing and the service is good if you can flag down a server. One thing we didn’t realize is that some of the dishes do not automatically come with rice. We waited for the server to come back so we could ask for rice, but the server never came back. We had to go up to the bar to get some attention, but this was probably a fluke, since they were pretty busy. All in all, it’s one of the top Indian restaurants in Grand Rapids.

Ambience is good, food is awesome and A nice place for North Indian cuisine. 1 star for Terrible Service!!! Have to wait for really long time to get bread. You get serviced after multiple requests and don’t care attitude by servers. Biryani lacks authenticity. Repetitive menu on buffet. Please try serving bread on time and train your waiters accordingly.

I have been to this place a couple of times before. It is usually when I am passing via Grand Rapids. This time, food didn’t taste as good as last year, and some of the breads barely had salt. My kids wanted to eat here this time, and they were disappointed with cheese Naan and they said it barely had any cheese, which they had previously liked.

Put down the fork. You know you’re going to need your hands for this one. You can tell the aunties were in the kitchen. Chicken biryani was flavorful with spices. I personally get my dishes mild. Chicken jalfrazie had veggies in it. Tasted great.

Beside the rancid Aloo Gobi they gave us the food was actually good particularly the vegetable korma, shrimp vindaloo and goat pickle. Horrible service though. Server was always annoyed, even when I asked for a straw. When I asked what option were halal, again server was annoyed. The halal options are beef and lamb.

We’re new to the area and I’m super happy we stopped in. The butter chicken was great and the garlic naan was perfect (baked fresh to our order!) The staff was super friendly but there were a few times i had to go approach them when we needed something. All in all I think we’ll be back
