Get in, save a table, order from the counter, wait till order is called, pick up food and grab any drinks you got from the fridge along with napkins and utensils and dig in!!! Really simple service but the food is packed with spice and flavor. The naan bread is worth the price, lamb biryanis is amazing and the chicken tika masala is super tasty. Don’t forget to try a mango lasi. Great bang for your buck here.

Haven’t had too much experience with Pakistani or Indian food (outside of curries) but this spot is “the mark” for me. Lamb biryani was delicious, tandoori chicken leg was juicy, garlic naan soft and full of flavor.

Authentic taste! Huge portion and quick service. Must try tandoori items 10/10; Chicken Karahi was too good 10/10; Ch Biryani aromatics and taste are amazing, it is more of pulav consistency. Must try all these dishes.

We used to go to their 16th St. location a lot back in the 2000’s. I still like that location better because it feels familiar and the clientele on a Saturday evening. The seating here is spread out and less intimate. I had the chicken tikka masala curry $11, samosa $4, garlic nan $2.50, tandoori chicken leg $5, basmati rice $2.49. Good job by the chef on making my food delicious. I asked the cashier to make my food not that spicy and it was spot on. I still love how they put lime and raw onions on the bottom of the chicken leg dish. That first taste of the nan and curry is like seeing an old friend again.

We went there for lunch. We ordered the mutton biriyani, beef seekh kabob, chicken tandoori kabob and butter naan. All the food were ready in 15-20 minutes. You have to bring your food from the counter to your table by yourself. The foods were perfectly made. The kabobs and the mutton in the biriyani – both were juicy and fresh. We enjoyed the food. Afterwards, we ordered mango lassi and that was also delicious. We are definitely going to visit there again.

I judge restaurants by their quality. If the good doesn’t give me issues with digestion, then it’s a go! The food here is great and it’s best when shared.

If you want some good Indian food then Pakwan is the place. They gave a few locations throughout the city. All their dishes are good. Chicken tandoori (~20 mins wait but worth every second of wait time), saag, and biryani are my go to in all Pakwan.
