We were excited to have an upscale Indian restaurant open in our neighborhood. Unfortunately, we were less than thrilled with the ambiance, food, and service. After being seated, we waited a while before being greeted by a server. They brought us a carafe of water, took our order, then left. They told us that the tandoori chicken would take a while, so we ordered something else. The food was OK, not anything special. For being a fairly new restaurant, the tabletops were scratched, and the view from our table was of a parking lot and the dumpsters (see pics). The restaurant was very loud, and you wouldn’t even know you were at an Indian restaurant as there is no Indian vibe. One light was malfunctioning and kept flashing on and off during our entire dinner. We were expecting a more upscale experience given the prices they are charging for entrees. From what we could tell, there are no lunch specials. (We ate there for dinner). No one came to check on us during our meal, and the server did not refill the water carafe.

Really flavorful food and great drinks. The samosa chats were very delicious. I had the Pakwan’s Special and ordered spicy. It was just right, not so spicy to blow away, but flavorful. My husband had tandoori shrimp, had a great char and were decent sized shrimp. Service was great and quick.

The chili chicken app was so good! The curry and vindaloo were on pount also! Really tender goat (which is better than the lamb) and a great staff and atmosphere! Everyone was very friendly and helpful as well! Try the virgin strawberry mojito, it was very refreshing!!!

Absolutely incredible Indian food in the middle of Colorado Springs! This place is a MUST VISIT! Ordered the garlic naan, Pakwan special (lamb and chicken) and beef curry. Everything was incredible! Rich, complex flavors with the perfect amount of heat. Service was nothing short of amazing, attentive and kind. We both had mixed drinks, my mojito was fantastic. Can’t say enough about this place!

The Afghani chicken was absolutely delicious, it was tender and flavorful. The Old monk beer was great too. We also tried the Dahi bhalla chat and it did not disappoint. Biryani, is not biryani actually and you can avoid it if you wanted to eat some at this place. It was more like a spicy hot pulao.

Overall dining experience was positive. The food (good), service (good), and price (good) met all expectations and it is another fantastic addition of ethnic restaurant to the city.

This is the best Indian restaurant in Colorado Springs and I’ve been to almost all of them. Their paneer dishes are fabulous. I’ve had mutter paneer, paneer makhni, and paneer tikka masala from here and enjoyed them all very much. The bullet naan is my favorite and their drink menu is great. Everything comes out with wonderful presentation. Just all around a great restaurant.

New spot in the Springs that serves great Indian food on par with what I get in the East coast.
