First and last time I go here. We ordered egg rolls, nothing unique there. Kunan, and a chicken and pork fried rice. The rice in particular was super soggy, looking at the chicken closely and rice, it looks like it was cooked days ago, and nuked today in the microwave. If we wanted leftovers, we could make this better, which brings me to the taste. All of it was very bland, the best part was the deepfried eggroll shell, and that was even overdone being burned on the ends. Now I don’t know if it’s just a lack of staff, or they don’t care, I’d rather wait an hour for my food and pay the same price, to get decent food. Not leftovers.

The flavors at this place are better than good. It’s to the point that I can’t ever decide. So I end up ordering my lunch and extra dishes to take home for dinner. No joke. I ordered the Green Curry, Panang (probably spelled that wrong) and the Chicken Pad Thai on the Thai menu. They also have a separate Chinese menu which is also good. Take a friend that you don’t mind sharing with and try all different things. Your taste buds will be happy you did, plus you’ll have leftovers.

We have loved Pagoda for many years living in Missoula. Recently the owners of Pagoda went way beyond expectations cooking and having food ready for us outside of their normal operating hours during the holiday season. Wonderful food, and over the top customer service! Can’t recommend Pagoda highly enough!

Have to write this review a little short sited as we have not had the opportunity to try their food. Every time we go to order from there or go there to eat, they are closed within their suggested hours. Says a ton about how they value their customer’s time. Edit for 2nd experience: Don’t waste your gas if they dont answer. They tend to close HOURS earlier than the established weekend closing time. Recently, I tried to order from their restaurant on a Friday around 5pm. I called a couple times over half an hour and they didn’t answer. I guessed that they were busy, so I decided to drive there to order in person. There was no notice on the door / windows stating they would be closing early that day and it was not a holiday. Apparently, they decided to close 3 hours earlier. Closing 15-30 minutes earlier due to it being slow is understandable, but 3 hours earlier on a weekend is showing that you don’t value your customers.

If you’ve been to Thailand you know the smell of real Thai food, Pagoda has that authenticity. The staff is amazing and very friendly. The Chinese food is okay, wish they would focus more on only Thai food. The prices are fair for the portions.
