I ordered the pad thai and it was disappointing. There was no hint of palm sugar or tamarind like a traditional padthai is supposed to taste. All it is is fried noodles with peanuts. To top it off the portion was also obnoxiously small. You can see in the picture how much room is left at the top of the containers. Next I also tried gang gai which was tastier but not impressive. To me if the popular items like padthai and gang was a disappointment I’d be skeptical about trying the other items on the menu. If you’ve never tried fried noodles before then I’d say give this place a try. But if you grew up eating thai food then stay away from this place. Overall I personally would not even recommend to my friends who are not familiar with Thai food.

The Tom Yum with fried tofu is deeeeeelicious! Casual, comfortable place and the prices are great. The takeout route is also a fantastic option here!

I love Thai food, and Pad Thai is one of my favorite restaurants. I’ve been here more times then I can count. They have the best green coconut curry! It has great spices and the perfect amount of coconut milk. I usually get it with tofu, and the tofu is always cooked perfectly. The noodles in the Pad Thai are also done very well. All of the dishes here are great, and you can customize them based on the spice level you prefer. The service is also great. The food always comes out pretty quick and the servers are so nice!

Worst Thai food I have ever had. The papaya, Tom yum soup and labb salad had no flavor, I asked for medium spicy and it had no spice. I had to go home and fix all my dishes. So disappointing food used to be great. Will never come back.

The chicken satay is dry and thin. The decent thing is that you get 6 of them but I’d rather it taste better than get more. The wonton soup was okay not great not bad wouldn’t come back for those side items!

The best restaurant ever, my favorite food ever is the red curry pasta and mango sticky rice! Whenever I think of a restaurant I want to go to, Pad Thai on grand is my #1 choice. The best food I’ve ever had in my life honestly!!

Been a reoccurring customer of Pad Thai for almost a decade! Whenever I’m in St. Paul I have to stop in and get some deep fried eggrolls and peanut sauce. This restaurant has the best food in all of St. Paul! Highly recommend.

I’ve been to Pad Thai several times over the years but I’m afraid I’m done. The food just isn’t great. My latest order of 407 (cashew stir fry) was lacking in flavor and over cooked. Vegetables were soggy.

I ate here today i wanted drunken noodles and got some nasty pad Thai style noodles instead. No veggies, only onion, dry chicken and lettuce on the plate. Three stars because the decor is cute
