Legit mexican food not tourist restaurant version, in a comfortable old school golf course clubhouse setting with amazing views. If you’re looking for a local feel this is it. Fun putt putt golf right outside for 5 bucks or play 9 holes on a well kept course for 10 bucks.

Located on golf course, at the clubhouse… so not visible from main road. Worth the effort… actual building on top of hill overlooking SW coast, with excellent view of mountains to the N. Descent view of Puuwai, the forbidden island.

Cold tortilla for the tacos?! Really?! Refried beans burnt, you can feel the smokey flavor on the beans from burning the bottom of the pot and in general nothing was flavorful, not even the birria, really sad they got everything wrong. Sadly as mexican I have to say that’s not good food and not even close to the real mexican flavors, really disappointed.
