Service was very friendly, and food came out quickly. We had the Pepper Prawns, General Chows chicken and Szechuan chicken. All had great flavor and portion sizes were good. We will be back.

I ordered inside the restaurant. After 30 minutes of watching people come in and pick up their orders and leaving, I finally checked and the person who took the order didn’t send it to the kitchen. It took 45 minutes from placing the order until they handed it to me. Alot of apologies. However, the food was really good. IF I ever go back there, I’ll order online so I don’t have to wait so long.

This place jacked the prices way up. It cost twice what it did a month ago. The bathroom is nasty. This place is going to end up going out of business.the food is not as good as it used to be and you get less. I used to eat there all the time. I won’t go back.

I used to give it 5 stars because it was my favorite restaurant but now it’s under new ownership and they have taken my favorite foods off the menu. I will no longer be going there.

Man I have no clue what happened in the last few months but I ordered their General Tso’s chicken and chicken fried rice today (they didn’t have pork as an option like before) and you could tell right away it was not the same. No flavor on either the rice or the chicken. The chicken was mildly spicy but that was about it for flavor. Whatever they changed they need to change back. Im offended that they raised the prices so much and changed the recipe. With these changes they definitely won’t last long.

Love the almond fried chicken! New menu, but a great change. I heard the Sichuan beef is on point. Great folks and good food.

I recently went to The Modern but was disappointed to learn that they had started to shut down their kitchen at 8 pm instead of 830. In a pinch I decided to go to The Pacific Express instead. My fiance is deathly allergic to mushrooms and because I don’t eat there, I didn’t find out that the dish we ordered contained mushrooms until after it was prepared. I had only got to my car before I rushed back in to ask about the inclusion of mushrooms. Which to my dismay, there were mushrooms in the dish that was still in our car. I hurriedly returned the food and explained that I couldn’t even touch any food with mushrooms because my Lady would have an adverse reaction from even the slightest permeation in the air or droplets touching me either. The hostess disappeared into the kitchen and didn’t seem to be returning any time soon. My six year old son and Lady were waiting for me to return with food and I hadn’t brought my cell phone to confer as to an alternate meal plan. The hostess had suggested that I could always get the rice for my son across the street at a Mexican Restaurant. Feeling extremely anxious and worried, I talked to a man who I thought was the owner who had come out of the back when the hostess went in. I asked him to have my money returned to my credit card and apologized on the way out. I called the restaurant several times a day leaving polite messages and was unable to contact anyone until tonight. I had what was seemingly a cordial conversation that I assumed would yield another order devoid of the ingredient that I had already paid for and not received a meal. The same hostess placed my order and then charged me again. I politely asked why she expected me to pay her again for a meal that I had never received. She became hostile and rudely proceeded to talk over me refusing to allow me to speak before hanging up the phone to conclude the conversation that my Fiance had listened to with me on speaker. Im confused as to what I should do to resolve the issue. It seems pretty straightforward that if a customer paid for a meal and didn’t recievesaid meal they should be entitled to a refund or goods equivalent to the monies rendered. Am I in the wrong here? Does anyone have any suggestions to resolve this misunderstan, thanks again from hungry guy who wants to feed his his family, signing off.
