Was there for Lunch on a Thursday, a decent crowd was there, atmosphere was good, the staff was very attentive and waitress was great. The beef enchiladas were very good and well made. This place is worth checking out!

We enjoy eating at Pablo’s. The wait staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is great. They must have been short-staffed today, though, as we waited over 45 minutes for our food to be served, and we got very little attention from our server for refills on drinks. The food was hot and very good, but I would have to think twice before trying lunch at noon on Sunday again.

Pablo’s is quintessential Michigan Mexican food. Locally owned and operated, you can get all of the favorites (tacos, burritos, fajitas) and a few family specials. Always order a special. Great Palomas, pretty good margaritas, limited beer selection. House salsa is fantastic and the service is always good. Outdoor seating is fantastic – by putting it at the corner, it’s less affected by road noise and it looks so pretty at night!

One star is generous, had dinner at the Michigan Ave location and was woefully underwhelmed. Our meals arrived about 10 minutes apart, was luke warm and when my wife complained about the cheese on my enchiladas not being melted the waitress took them back to the kitchen where the cook dumped salsa on them, the beans tasted like canned beans. $60(including tip) for 2 meals and 2 drinks is obscene. There are much better Mexican restaurants in Lansing, we will not be returning

Visiting Pablo’s on May 5th is not the best time to visit for the first time. The place was packed at 3:45pm! There was a table available for our party of 8. Service personnel had a hard time keeping up with the demand. We were served chips and salsa but no napkins upon being seated. After about 7 minutes, our server came for drink orders. Over the next 10 minutes, our party arrived, and food was ordered. It didn’t take too long for the food to be delivered. We still had no silverware! Finally, another server got silverware for us and extra napkins. My Mexican tacos were delicious. The beans and rice served with them were also delicious. I want to return on a less busy time to try other menu choices. The outdoor seating area looked like fun but all the seats were taken out there.

Had an amazing time at Pablo’s Old Town! Their “La Tora” sandwich was fantastic! The staff was friendly and the owner was incredibly nice – you can tell they really care about their customers. Awesome place, can’t wait to go back!

My sister and I have been searching for authentic Mexican food for years since moving to Lansing. Service was really friendly, food was full of flavor. Only bad thing we could say was the steak was a little salty. Prices weren’t bad at all for the food you got. Varied, tasty, friendly. 5 stars.

We have been here 3 times now, and it just gets worse each time. Super loud inside, the food always takes 40 min or longer to receive. We will definitely pass on the new Pablo’s from now on.

The guacamole was good and the patio space is very nice. Besides that our visit was a disaster. I got the wrong food twice. Never ended up with the right thing. We just gave up after paying for what we did get and left. The manager seemed indifferent about it. The Pablo’s in Old Town is far superior.
