Right across from The Mercantile in Pawhuska, I don’t think this place is yet well-known to visitors. We discovered it while on the waiting list for the restaurant, and there was absolutely no wait. Glad we made this stop — the pizza was incredible, with perfectly brewed iced tea. If we had room, we would have taken them up on their delicious-looking desserts! Friendly and fast service. You do have to walk up stairs to get to the restaurant – keep that in mind. A rustic, yet comfortable place for good eats. The PW sweet shop is also next door to the pizzeria.

P-town Pizza was the first stop on our visit to Pawhuska and we were excited for the pizza. The restaurant was pretty full but we had no wait. Liked the look of the inside dining room, the bar area was a little sad. The service staff was pretty slow and it took a minute to place a drink order. Once the server did come by she was friendly, but not seen much after that the food and drink were all brought by runners. This was observed all over the restaurant, tables waiting on service. We ordered the not-knots after seeing Rea make them on TV. They came and were only warm and very dense, yet tasty. The Steakhouse pizza was very good. The crust was nice and the fried mushrooms a game changer for me as a pizza topping. At the end of our meal once the leftovers were packed up the table next to ours got some of the not-knots delivered and they looked amazing. You could see the steam and they were so fluffy looking. When the server brought back the change I asked if we could get just a single not-knot because those on the next table looked so much better than what we were served. She walked away and the manager came to us and said she was sending us an order to go and said that there was an issue with the kitchen precooking them and they had to replace those at the table behind us. Having not had a server checking in on us we didn’t have the opportunity to say anything sooner. The new order were hot and fluffy, that even thought they were boxed up and we were full we each had two of them before we left.

I’ve been to P-Town pizza twice in the last 5 weeks. My first visit, I was extremely happy with the food, the service, the atmosphere and the company of my 76-year-old friend from Pawhuska. For starter, we split an order of LADD’S CHOPPED WEDGE salad. Their portions are huge so it can easily be split between two people. We also ordered their Not Knots which are to die for. I’ve never sunk my teeth in anything so satisfyingly delicious—crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. They were deliciously bathed in their garlic and basil/parsley olive oil and grated parmesan cheese. These were served with a variety of red and white sauces, which I never used because I wanted to savor the flavor on its own. You can’t go to P-Town Pizza and not try the Not Knots. For pizza, I ordered the Fig & Prosciutto which was delicious. It was generously topped with fresh arugula. I wish it had one more slice of prosciutto and a couple more pieces of figs to make the flavor pop. My friend ordered the veggie pizza that came beautifully presented with lots of color and she thoroughly enjoyed it too!

So the pizza and lasagna were excellent. We initially were excited to try the salad but there was not enough seasoning or vinegar in the dressing; leaving my salad just tossed in oil. Our server handled it so well.

Went upstairs (only downfall) to order pizzas for dinner. Bartender Aaron was super nice and cool…. he helped me with the order, and so I sat at the bar, and Aaron made me a Grownup Cherry Limeade. Mmmm… Moonshine cherries.

Restaurant is upstairs. Chairs are not comfortable is you are a “hippy” woman. So, the food was amazing (pizza and lasagna.) The service was outstanding. Floor was clean. Great place to bring the kids. So worth the trip up the stairs!

AWESOME PLACE! Really good wood fire pizza! The Not Knots are a must try!!! I tried them with ranch and marinara. The ranch is really thick. I liked the ranch more with the Not Knots. The pizza is very tasty. Out of the three, the pepperoni and cheese is great, but the other two were just as good!

First time here and we got right in and ate the Not Knots and Veggie pizza and added 2 sausages to it. Also had a mango beer that was so smooth and tasty! Take the time to stop by! Wonderful pizza and service.

My wife and I went on a date here and we cannot wait to go back. The service was good and the food was amazing. We ordered the What a Fun-Gi, added Italian sausage, and it was honestly some of the best pizza we’ve had. Everything down to the sauce tasted so fresh. We ordered a Caesar salad to share and did not expect the size we got, it was so big and very good. The fact that it comes with Not Knots is even better, they are so light and delicious. The sweet tea was also very good and I’m picky on my sweet tea.

Ate at P-Town again today (3-25-23) .absolutely incredible once again! Food was fantastic, waitress was super friendly and we loved watching the gentleman working the pizza oven. He was so fast, but was smiling the whole time. If you haven’t tried P-town you are missing out!
