This place is as good as the one at Palace Station, but without the waiting because they have much more seating. It probably helps that it is away from the tourists as well.

First time dining at the Oyster Bar in Sunset Station Casino in Henderson, Nevada, and I was pleasantly surprised! Friendly service and excellent menu in a wonderful atmosphere with a nice waterfall coming down just outside from our table which subdued any noise from the casino. My Bouillabaisse was simmered in a spicy tomato base with two crab legs, prawns, scallops, mussels, and fish. All entrees served to my friends were rich and delicious! I’ll definitely come back to enjoy this New Orleans style cuisine.

My wife and I come here often and this was by far the worst experience and the one worth leaving a review for. For starters, we wanted a floor table so we waited until one opened up but they put us at a table so small our children wouldn’t have fit. We had to put some items on the rock area in front of us to have enough room for the food. Secondly, our waiter was the worst forgetting what our drink order was and having to come back to ask us and then setting the wrong food items in front of both of us. The final was the actual food itself with the burnt nasty oysters they brought to our table. We told our waiter and his reply was that they come like that and if we wanted a new order but the wait was already long so we declined and that was that. They are supposed to be grilled not burnt. Charbroiled does not mean charred. For 2 full orders of oysters over $40 a piece I will go somewhere else next time for oysters possibly altogether. My cesar salad had something hard and grainy that was just displeasing as well. Needless to say we didn’t eat much. No other offer of any kind and he was still tipped despite all the ridiculousness. Very displeasing visit.

I’ve always wanted to try the famous Oyster Bar at The Palace Station but could never bring myself to wait 2+ hours for a meal. Our friend discovered that Sunset Station had an Oyster Bar too. No wait, plus table service and the food was excellent. Started with a dozen oysters and they were so good, we ordered another half dozen. Clam chowder was great, combo pan roast was amazing and the etoufee was good, but I’d stick with Pan Roast for sure. There were a couple of tiny crab shell bits, but other than that, it was an excellent meal.

Came here for the combo pan roast, and it did not disappoint. I appreciated that they offered varying levels of spice from 1-10, as I’m spice intolerant, but the other people in my party are spice maniacs. My pan roast with spice level 1 was delicious, each bite full of seafood delight: crab, shrimp, lobster. The shrimp cocktails and Manila clam steamers were also very good.

Great place to eat. It was newly renovated, although we didn’t notice much difference from before. I love how the water falls around the dining area and drowns out the casino noise. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious .

I love this place. I can easily eat there 3 times a week. Try the charbroil oysters those are amazing. They go great with there house merlot wine. Topped with parmesan and cooked in a charbroiler so good.

We sat with RJ at the bar and he took excellent care of us! We ate what he suggested: oysters two ways and the bouillabaisse. All of the choices were great!

I have been coming here for over 5 years now when I am in town and have never been disappointed. The staff are as amazing as the pan roast. All of the food is fresh hot and flavorful. The white sangria is delicious. The chefs work to please and yes, occasionally there is a wait but they work quickly to get you seated. The Ceasars salad is excellent. I have never been disappointed. Would definitely recommend.
