First time with my husband, and we LOVED the food. The owner took our order and gave us the break down of the entire menu. We ordered the Greek Burger and added arugula. They have House Fries and Ox Fries – GET THE OX FRIES. It comes with a glaze that tastes incredible! I would have preferred to order the wings as all flats, so the burger and the fries were in my opinion top notch. Great prices! The atmosphere out on the outdoor patio could have been a little more lively, but overall we enjoyed our experience and our tummy’s were satisfied.

Placed a call in order it was ready in 10 minutes. The burger was delicious and fresh tasting. The meat was definitely real beef and not dry at all. The fries were a little soggy but was good home fries. Bacon cheese burger and fries with a sweet tea cost me 17 dollars.

Pretty basic interior, no atmosphere at all. Burger was good but kind of pricey for 1/4 pound, just under 10 bucks for Burger only, fries are homemade then add a drink and you’re in the 16-18.00 dollar range. We found the cashier girl wasn’t very willing to help us out with their menu even after we explained to her that we’re from out of town and our first time here. Not rude just no help or smile even after she brought us our food. Don’t expect over the top service, food or atmosphere.

My husband and I have made a habit of trying new restaurants in each new city we visit. Ox Kitchen is now on our list of favorites; we both had the Ox Burger, which comes with white sauce & Ox gravy; sounds iffy BUT, do not cheat yourself by forgoing both condiments, they took the burger up an unexpected notch! It truly was one of the best burgers we’ve tasted; the staff was also friendly & helpful, which complimented the whole experience, 10 out of 10 from us!!

We stopped by on a whim and were completely blown away after having no expectations. The food was fantastic and the staff were friendly. The burgers were massive and quite tasty, with lots of good char on the patty and the buns very soft and sweet. The Alabama white sauce really compliments the burgers. The Ox Fries were rich – the au jus/blue cheese combo was quite piquant. You could definitely split an Ox Fries between two instead of getting two orders of house fries as they are big. I want to come back and try a lot more on the menu, so we will be back.

A great spot for a good burger or sandwich. The brussel sprouts were excellent. If I was not just visiting the area, I would definitely come back to try other menu items. The owner was also very friendly and interacted with the customers. Highly recommended.

The pimento Cheese Burger was phenomenal! The fries are the best in the area no doubt. The grilled chicken sandwich was, however, dry and overcooked; would not order again. The staff was young up front and just seemed to be happybto take an order and go back to whatever they were doing. Not really any ambiance, but if you want a great burger and the BEST fries go now!

My husband and friends enjoyed it. I have decided I don’t like this restaurant.(I’ve been a few times, now) The burgers, for me, are nothing to write home about. Not cooked quite enough for me. And their meat is not very flavorful. And the burgers are too dense. I ended up taking the meat off the bun and just having a veggie sandwich with mayonnaise…it is a simple, no frills kinda place. Acoustics makes it hard to hear anyone at your own table, and everyone is yelling over the next person. If you’re older…and you decide to go…just eat…don’t talk.
