This is our to-go/eat spot when we’re in the Long Beach area, due to their Spicy Jaew Sauce. Today, we ordered the Somtum Platter (Lao Style) along with the 16oz Spicy Jaew Sauce & Large Butterfly Tea. ALL of the meat was perfectly cooked to the crispiness with the right amount of flavors. The Moo Ping (fancy for grilled pork skewers) was surprisingly good. The flavor & texture was just right; especially the texture. It wasn’t too soft or soggy. However, the Lao Style somtum was not how we’ve imagined, but it was still good enough. We’re used to the Homestyle Lao version with the heavy shrimp paste, crabs and other “stinky” sauce . The restaurant itself is pretty small and there is NO restroom onsite for guests; not so sure if there is one at all. I hope you’ll enjoy the fabulous dishes from this restaurant as we did. Don’t forget to get a small 8oz of the Spicy Jaew Sauce for to-go. ✌️

Great Thai food! Everything was delicious! I love the papaya salad. Pad Thai was great as well, so different in taste than most that I had which I can’t distinguished what the flavor is from my past lol. Spot on delicious though! I had it mild but even that was too hot for me . Pork belly was good too, the dipping sauce was the thing that ties everything together for that dish. Oh I almost forgot, we even got the Thai tea with boba . Tea was not spot on though and the boba was over cooked, end up tossing over half of it out when we left. But we’ll definitely come back for the food

Been here a few times, it’s just down the street from my house. Got the Larb Salad with pork, super tasty with great flavor. Just wish it was on a bed a chopped lettuce and cabbage rather than a large strips/leafs. The Pad See Ew was also delicious. Nice mix of veggies. I got the Thai tea both times without boba and it’s always been very good. Ready to try the Pad Thai next time. The place is always clean with attentive staff.

Second time trying owl owl and both experiences are enjoyable. Tried their bbq platter the first time, and the sausages stood out as a winner. Went with more standard Thai orders this time, and the boat noodle was comforting, with a deep flavorful soup you would expect. The pad Kee mao looks a smaller portion than other places, but it’s bold and filling. I love how much veggies are put into the stir fry.
