Food was great, dessert was great, service was great, we got a steak and short ribs ragu and they were fantastic, portion size on the steak was very large, the pasta portion was a little smaller than expected once I saw the size of the steak. The dessets we got were the turtle pie and peanutbutter chocolate crustless pie (can’t remember exactly the name) and they were beyond good. We will definitely be back.

This was probably one of my most favorite dates yet. Let’s just start at the ambience. This is really fine dining in an intimate way. I loved how cozy it felt inside. There were even roses and rose petals on my table. We started with drinks and let me just say wow. I got a drink similar to the lemon drop and my partner ordered red wine. We were both extremely pleased with our drinks. We got this crab either soup or bisque and it was top notch. It definitely had real crab meat chunks in there and the flavor was magnitude. Then to pur entrees. We’re both Pescatarians so I ordered the shrimp and she ordered the salmon. It came with veggies and mashed potatoes. I can not lie when I say everything tasted sooooo delicious and fresh. You can tell the food is really made from scratch and they use premium ingredients. Even the ice cream that came out tasted as if someone was back there churning it. If you are looking for a fine dining experience with food that actually taste incredible and a portion size bigger than just 1 leaf on a plate then I highly recommend this place. 10/10 for everything. The food, service, and ambience was superb.

Great place with superb food and atmosphere. Not really a place if you like solitude or privacy because you are pretty cozy to the people at the adjacent tables. Food is pretty simple and delicious. It seems the steak was very popular when we were there but I had the 2 duck breast dinner which was made perfectly but my husband had the Cioppino which was barely edible. The Cioppino was super salty and actually made him sick after eating for 2 days afterwards. I felt bad for him after I tasted it but he’s not one to complain and tried eating it as he didn’t want to ruin our anniversary dinner by making a complaint.

While I rarely order a chicken dish at a fine restaurant, I took a chance (well, it’s Over the Moon Cafe, so you’re really never taking a “chance” with any of their menu items) and ordered the Chicken Cacciatore. It was the Rosemary Polenta that enticed me. It did not disappoint! There was such a wonderful combination of flavors in this dish! I was so glad I ordered it and highly recommend it. We started with the Chevre & Beets which was delicious, and then had the Crab Bisque which was wonderful! The service was excellent as well – prompt and timely, but never intrusive or overbearing.

OMG! I live 2 blocks away for 17 years and missed out. Im so glad I had this experience, and I WILL be back. Im a foodie & willing to spend $$ for good food. I absolutely loved the cute atmosphere; comfy chairs, low lighting, & clean. Service: The 3 waitstaff we interacted with were so knowledgeable, quick, and pleasant. Food: The first thing was the freshness, great fresh ingredients, my meal was hot, oooh tasted like great homemade food. Not too salty, not bland(no one is afraid to season the food) amazing!!

I enjoyed everything about this experience! From the staff, to the table decor, to the FOOD! They include really nice touches for special occasions. Probably one of the best prime ribs we’ve ever had and succulent duck breast. It was a great way to spend date night.

We ventured out for the first time in months. Over the Moon deserves its high rating. We had ribeye, duck, bisque, a bread-n-cheese appetizer, wine and a very tasty cocktail.
