First time customer. Let me tell you!!!! Our Thyme & Table in Smyrna is a very nice establishment with fantastic friendly owners and staff. The 8oz freshly made crab cakes were delicious and they were served with a healthy portion of steam broccoli Now for the delicious cheese steak….it was full of quality beef, the roll was perfect and fresh. Oh one more thing The fries are freshly made and were cooked to perfection. I was informed about crab cake having onions and peppers. The owner/cook had no problem with making crab cakes to my liking, without onions and peppers. After passing this restaurant every day while picking my kids up from school, I finally got a chance to stop in for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised. The owners served us directly. They are incredibly friendly and took us on a tour of the restaurant. We tried the appetizer nachos and the plate was HUGE. I didn’t think we’d even put a dent in it but it was so good, we demolished it. I ordered the BBQ brisket for my meal and it was some of the best BBQ I’ve had. There were leftovers due to portion sizes, so my husband was able to try it when he got home from work and he was instantly hooked. One of the better restaurant experiences I’ve had in a while. I highly suggest visiting this amazing gem!!!

Let me first start off by saying this place has a lot of potential. This is a nice place to eat. We went there with the intention on getting some fresh oysters. We were told that they didn’t have any because of the way they tasted when they went to purchase them. That was really appreciated because if the person that picked them out won’t eat them then they shouldn’t be served to the public! Our waiter was very nice and accommodating because we had two children with us! We got the Bang Bang Shrimp and the Cheesesteak Egg Rolls and they were quite good. My kids loved the shrimp! We had two cocktails and they were tasty, Bee’s Knees and my wife had some kind of chocolate martini. Overall, it was a good experience besides not having the oysters lol! But if you do want the oysters I would advise you to call ahead just to make sure that they have them available.

I was in the town of Smyrna on a week day around noon-ish. I wanted some lunch and decided on Our Thyme & Table. As I entered, the staff was welcoming and friendly. As I viewed the menu, prices seemed reasonable. I ordered take out, steak and fries, and there was reasonable wait time for my meal. Let me tell you now, the steak was seasoned well and cooked to perfection, fries golden and crisp, steak served on a hero bread which was gently toasted and delicious as well!! I will share my pleasant experience with friends and family!

I am here visiting from Illinois and went here with my sister and niece for supper. From the minute we walked in we were welcomed and made to feel at home. The Food was absolutely the best ever! I had the red snapper and it was so delicious! We also had the prime rib and fried chicken. As well as potato skins for an appetizer. Everything was top notch. I would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

This is a cute little place to eat and spend time with family or family. In Downtown Smyrna there are many little restaurants and this one has some character. There is a small gift shop in the front filled with candles, jewelry and keepsakes created by local artists I’m sure. The indoor dining area is large with booths and tables. The Outside where I sat was charming.

We had a great lunch on the patio. We just spent time camping at blackbird state park and we’re looking for somewhere to eat before driving home. The owner/manager was fantastic the whole time. The food was great and quick we will definitely be back.

Hands down, best restaurant I’ve been to yet in Kent & New Castle counties! Atmosphere is gorgeously historic, when we walked in the the aroma took me back to my great grandmother’s kitchen, bacon cooking and the wood stove burning ❤️ Now to the food…1st course was Bang Bang Shrimp which was perfectly crispy on the outside and delectable on the inside. Steamed shrimp seasoned perfectly. 2nd course, Tenderloin topped garden salad with HOMEMADE blue cheese dressing and lightly fried soft shell crab, again, perfectly cooked. 3rd course, 6oz & 9oz filet mignon superbly cooked medium rare with the best mashed potatoes I’ve ever had (sorry mom)!

We visited Our Thyme & Table for the first time to celebrate my birthday. It has a very welcoming ambiance and the staff is super friendly. Everything on the menu looked scrumptious! But I settled for one of the specials of the day…Mile high meatloaf and mashed potatoes! I decided to pick this meal because it is very difficult to find someone who can make good meatloaf. I figured this would be a good test of the chefs skills lol. Let me tell you…this was the absolute best meatloaf I have ever put in my mouth. Wonderful flavor, moist and juicy and topped with creamy homemade masked potatoes and gravy! The other guests in our party had the Chicken and Dumplings and Blackened Grouper and were equally happy with their meals. We were definitely impressed with everything about this place and will be back soon to try some of the other wonderful items on the menu. Home cooking at it’s best. Shout out to our waitress KK! She was so sweet and attentive. Thank you for such a great experience!

We were given our bill prior to receiving our food. We waited for an hour and a half. My nephew never got his food and the owner never came out to take it off the bill. Her staff finally felt bad because she wasn’t coming and took it off. Awful experience. Will never return. Our server was very sweet and obviously very new and mortified about the experience. The owner did NOT care ♀️
