Upon entering I was skeptical of the place since it looks old. But I gave it a chance since the kids and I drove for an hour and were hungry. Caesar was our waiter. He welcomed and greeted us right away. He was a very polite patient and professional waiter. He was the ONLY waiter and helped like 15 other people at the same time. He checked on everyone often and will even literally run to answer the phone to take orders. He worked very hard. He never had an attitude. This guy deserves a raise or at least a holiday bonus! He earned it. The menu had plenty of choices from regular American/Mexican breakfast lunch and dinner to a low carb and diabetic diet menu. That was great. Plenty of parking. They even have a community pantry table. The prices are very fair. Regular portions. The food tasted mediocre. I saw other people that worked or probably own the place but no one helped the waiter out. That was disappointing to see. It did take a while to get our food too. My kids ordered chicken strips and I had the carne asada burrito.

Meh…. My girlfriend and I were getting her car detailed down the street and found this spot while we were walking the center and killing time. When you walk inside you are immediately hit with the fact that this place is OLD… Not a big deal, sometimes those places have the best food. However, Our spot is not one of those places.

People here were super sweet. Menu had a good variety, they have menudo. It’s a little old inside, looks clean however seemed like they were working on getting rid of some pests, food was good.

Always the friendliest staff. Quick to seat you and take your order. The food is great and they have a varied menu. Only qualm is the food takes a little longer than other places but it’s worth it and everything I’ve had so far has been great. The friendly staff alone to keep me coming back here.

“Our Place” is a Moreno Valley landmark that has been in business over 30 years. This little diner fills up on the weekends and it’s only open breakfast through lunch; so keep that mind. I love the weekly specials, as it’s the right price for the correct portions. Go ahead and try several of their larger plates though. I’ve never been dissatisfied; I even hear they have a secret menu… Cheesecake Chimichanga anyone? (this fusion goes great with their standard American breakfasts and the delicious Mexican platters). I’ve popped in at least a few times a year for over a decade.
