We had a wonderful visit to Ground Zero, so of course we’re hungry the next late morning. This is a very authentic Southern Breakfast restaurant. Prices are unbelievably a fantastic bargain, so Tip Big! Food quality and choices were as you would expect.

Was near Ground Zero where I stayed the night before so I gave it a try. Service was great but none of my food was cooked properly and one could tell the vent hood wasn’t working as well as it should. I politely tried to eat my food as much as I could and paid up and left. I’d look elsewhere for a good breakfast.

Fabulous mom and pop diner. Breakfast was FAST and the service was wonderful. Very polite and attentive and as a traveler passing through, I felt right at home. Lots of locals come here too and they know their orders by heart – that just has to show you how great their food is. Makes you want to come back for more!

You will be hard pressed to find a breakfast like this for $8 anywhere. The star of this meal was the pancakes – so fluffy and tasty. I wish I had the opportunity to upgrade to real maple syrup. Been there 3 times recently for breakfast and EVERYTIME SOMETHING IS MISSING FROM THE OMELET OR ORDER! This is BS! And, the omelet had been microwaved!!! Today we called back again and the woman says “I’ll let the cook know and we owe you .75 for the vegetables he forgot to put on your omelet”. An insult… to say the least! Not sure who is leaving 4.5 star ratings but no one that I know who has eaten from here lately would recommend going back for seconds! You’ve been warned…

The governor lifted the order to limit capacity. But this restaurant was closed on a Monday morning. Ok stay safe y’all. Ok, this is next year already. It was worth the wait. I’m 59 years old and I just had the best pancakes of my life. All the food was good but the pancakes were great. The lady taking orders was really busy but did a perfect job at everything.
