Absolutely perfect! The ambiance doesn’t have a single detail that’s gone overlooked. The owners and the staff are warm, humble, and truly have hearts of service. I haven’t felt like an appreciated guest in a restaurant in a long time. They all know the value of the entire experience and I was grateful to be a part of the dance!

The restaurant is nice inside with a cool atmosphere. Everything we ordered was delicious. We ate at the bar and the bartenders were awesome. They were very accommodating. Reasonable prices.

We could not believe how beautifully designed this restaurant was. You can see all the time and love they spent on details of where they were from in Italy. The owner met us when we walked in and could not of been nicer. We sat outside which was beautiful, the service was outstanding. We ordered pizza and a homemade pasta dish, they were equally delicious. I topped it off with their homemade gelato. The whole experience was great and we often like to walk around the Waterside. Can’t wait to go back .

The arrival of an authentic Italian restaurant in Lakewood Ranch. Just opened 2 days ago and the place was very busy. We were lucky to get 2 seats at the bar. A wonderful experience with delicious food. Met Carmine tonight as part of the ownership team that was all hands on deck working out all the fine details that go into opening a restaurant. Love their patio overlooking the pond with many seating features to enjoy. Definitely a must try restaurant.

As of this writing Osteria 500 has been open one week, so I’m cutting them a little slack on a few things. However, the food needs no breaks. My wife had the salmon and it was cooked and seasoned to perfection. They happily substituted vegetables for the potatoes as she requested. I had a pasta dish that I can’t spell or pronounce. Pasta rings with sausage and a pistachio sauce. It was wonderful. All the pastas, breads and sauces are house made.

Amazing. Charming and authentic space. The staff make you feel like family. Peppe, Carmine & Andrea are the best. If they have the Picanha steak special, get it and a bottle of the Inferni wine! Thank me later. You can’t go wrong with anything though.

Offering an authentic Italian culinary experience, the restaurant’s menu has already expanded within just one week since its opening. The staff exudes professionalism and creates a welcoming atmosphere suitable for various occasions, including family gatherings, romantic dinners, business meetings, and casual lunches. The pizza is Neapolitan style, so if you except some NY style pizza, you’ll find something completely different here, and better. The pasta and meat dishes are also nothing short of phenomenal, leaving a lasting impression on all the friends we have introduced to this establishment, who were highly impressed with its exceptional value. Overall, our experience at Osteria 500 can be described as nothing short of fantastic (if it was possible, I’d give it 6 stars!)

Amazing atmosphere! The air was broken for a day or two and they took care of it immediately. Don’t listen to the reviews about the air, it’s not even an issue!!! The food was phenomenal, the bar inside and out were fabulous! After we ate dinner at the bar and had drinks we enjoyed a drink on the beautiful patio. Listened to the fountain and watched the gator swim around. Honestly…this is one of the best restaurants we’ve been to in Lakewood Ranch! You won’t be disappointed!
