Amazing service, amazing food, and great atmosphere! Most of their dishes are quite reasonably priced. The truffle dishes are pretty expensive but that’s to be expected. They hand-shave the truffles over your dish if you order one that includes truffles. Each table gets warm bread and butter as well as hard bread sticks, which are all delicious. Their portions aren’t huge by any means but they’re so packed full of flavor and richness, you will definitely leave the restaurant full and satisfied. Definitely recommend coming here if you’re in NYC!

It was our second time visiting Osteria Carlina WV location and we were blown away by the dishes we had! Can’t recommend enough for the porcini pasta dish. We tried the Piemonte style beef tartare for the first time and it was amazing! 5/5 review for this one! It’s a special place in Manhattan for us and we will go back!

Very cute spot in the West Village. I got risotto as my main, and my group got the lobster tortellini to share for the table. Overall food was good but there are better Italian places in New York. Service was slow even though the restaurant was empty. Would come back only if I’m in the area and didn’t make a res somewhere else.

Had an amazing dinner here last night with friends! The atmosphere was very warm and inviting. The food was unbelievable! We had vitello tonnato and scallops as appetizers which were delicious. Beef cheeks were incredible—melting in my mouth. Did not even take a picture, they were eaten so quickly! Ask the waiter for wine suggestions…very knowledgeable and attentive! We will be back to taste more of this menu!

Osteria Carlina in West Village provided a truly fantastic and remarkable dining experience for my romantic date night. I had reserved a table in advance, hoping for an early dinner spot, and the ambience was both quiet and refined. The attentive and knowledgeable waitstaff added to the overall charm. The Battuta Di Fassona Piemontese (beef tartare) we shared was beautifully presented and tasted divine, setting the stage for the delightful flavors to come. My Pappardelle Con Funghi Selvatici, with its smoky porcini mushrooms elevating the Ragu, was a savory delight. My partner enjoyed the Gnocchetti Con Ricotta, Basilico e Pomodorini, featuring tender mini gnocchi bathed in refreshing pesto. Still hungry for more, I ordered the Caramelle Di Piselli Mascarpone, a dish of pea and Mascarpone paste dumplings in a creamy, slightly nutty sauce. Every bite left me satiated, and I can confidently say it was the best dinner I’ve had in NYC so far.

The food here was very impressive. Our pasta dishes were all fresh, hot and flavourful. The cod was by far the best dish. We eat a lot of fish and were still blown away by the unique taste and how perfectly it was cooked. Also highly recommend the squid ink pasta as it was creamy, flavourful and full of fresh seafood.

What a fantastic place! My friends and I had a lovely dinner here lastnight. Everything from the wine, appetizers, pastas, seafood and dessert were amazing! Authentic northern Italian food and warm hospitality throughout the whole evening. The service was incredible and overall one of the best experiences I’ve had in NYC. A perfect gem in the west village dining scene. Highly recommend!
