This is a hidden gem. We heard about it from a friend and drove down from Columbus. It was the best food we have had since our trip to Italy. You can bring your own wine since they do not have a liquor license.Two of us had the lobster ravioli and i had the meat ravioli. All were delicious. We also enjoyed the caprice salad with garlic bread for appetizers and we sampled three different desserts. All were 5 star. If you have a chance, please treat yourself to a wonderful dining experience.!

Who would have thought to find some of the best authentic Italian food in Central Ohio in Lancaster? The owner is from Rome and each dish is made to order with top-notch ingredients: from-scratch stuffed pastas, in-house baked bread, amazing desserts. Every dish we ordered (a caprese salad, assorted ravioli, tortellini, tiramisu) was so delicious and obviously made with love. I am so glad we “discovered” this restaurant while looking for Italian in the area. You can bring your own wine if you like, but no alcohol is sold. There is an on-site ATM since this is a cash-only establishment. We will definitely be regulars!

Excellent dining experience! My wife and I dined here for our 16th anniversary. We had one of the best dining experiences of our lives. It’s a quiet romantic spot with an old world feel. Chris’s food is real authentic Italian cuisine. He’s lively, engaging and keeps you laughing. We absolutely love this hidden gem! The restaurant is cash only because he’s a small locally owned business. Visit Osteria Alla Romana and support the best Italian restaurant in Fairfield county.

What a fabulous little place and the owner/chef, Christopher, is amazing. Our first time was yesterday for my birthday, and we will definitely be going back. The food is all fresh and handmade and truly authentic. Don’t walk, RUN, to Osteria to get your Italian fix! Please be patient when you go because he does it all on his own, but it’s well worth the wait.

Listen….. Osteria Alla Romana is the best restaurant in town! I’ve never eaten there before tonight. We were treated like royalty by the owner, Chris. Spoiled as a matter of fact. Our food was perfect. The Mozarella is untouchable. Everything was made from scratch to order as we got there. The bread. The salad. The meal. The dessert. I can’t rave enough about it. If you haven’t tried it, you’re really missing out on a gem of a meal. Also, our server Isaiah was ON IT tonight. Didn’t miss a beat! Well worth the money we spent!! I’m not big on putting restaurants on a pedestal…..But Yo….. !

Tried Osteria Alla Romana for the first time today. Great food and atmosphere. If you’re looking for another Olive Garden this isn’t it, it’s authentic Italian, not American- Italian. They are a cash only business so be prepared.
