Now let me just say I am a burger connoisseur and a High Point native who recently joined a crew working furniture market to lunch. It was a nice walk from the IHFC’s bus depot to discover what looks like a little blue concession stand… or stationary food truck of your dreams. Although, I’d be lying if I said I could tell I should have known about this place from the jump from it’s surrounding gravel and shrubbery.

Nice little find. Local diner with a bare minimum of indoor and outdoor seating. Order at the counter and they will bring to the table. Burgers were fresh made and very tasty. Cash is easy but they do take credit cards. Friendly staff.

Oscar’s has always for many years and still is a favorite restaurant to me. I only know one way to say it, that everything I have eaten there is delicious! They have the best burgers, and their onion rings and fries are great too. Breakfast is very good also. Can’t say enough for the courteous and helpful staff. Thanks to all of you for your hard work and commitment for so many years preparing all the good food!

THE best burgers. Fresh, hand patties. Love the 16oz Home Run. I got the Grand Slam which has bacon & cheese and comes with fries and drink. At $12 it’s the best deal in town.
