Expensive small portions and warm sushi rolls. I was disappointed in what I was served. While the atmosphere is nice, the service was slow. I ordered two rolls and gyoza. The gyoza is not fresh made and the spicy tuna did not look or taste like tuna.

The meal started off with a bad impression as the dishes came out looking dull and lacked vibrant colors. The calamari in the hibachi was chewy and did not taste fresh. The steak in the hibachi was unseasoned. The stir fry noodles tasted like everything was thrown together last minute. I would not recommend considering the other options Columbia, MO has for Japanese food.

This food at this restaurant was delicious!! Best food I’ve had in a long time. I ordered the Big-o-roll and my husband had The Chicken-Beef-Teriyaki sushi dinner. I would come here again in a heartbeat. The servers were very kind and sweet.

I work nearby & thought I would give this place a try. I got the crazy roll (bland/plain, dry/no toppings/sauce) & volcano roll (super spicy sauce/seafood flavor). It was just not my kind of sushi. Maybe some of the other rolls would have been better? Employees were friendly & quick, had my order done in 10 mins.

*Update!* FOOD POISONING! DON’T GO FOR ANY OF THEIR FOOD! Go for fried rice or something not sushi. Their taste is ok, but their prices to the amount you receive is terrible. I paid $13 x 3 rolls and got 15 pieces of sushi. $39 for 15 pieces of sucks. You get 8 pieces for their $8 California roll. I won’t be going back.

I ordered a roll with tuna that did not look safe to eat. When I called the gentleman over he insisted it was fresh. But my friend ordered tuna as well and his was pink (please refer to the photos I’ve included to see the difference in color). I pointed this out and he offered to bring me new tuna at an additional charge. I said I’m not interested in paying more and asked if I could substitute it for something else. Hey said yes, brought me a different roll and then charged me for the substitution. He also spent the entire time in the back not hearing us when we called for assistance.
