Our food was decent, the sushi rolls were pretty basic but tasty. The appetizer we ordered was the three dips and pita, we were surprised by how little dip and bread we were given. The menu said we got four ounces on two of the dips, and two ounces of the other. We only received two ounces of each, not a big deal, the most disappointing part was that we only got five pieces of pita that wasn’t even enough to finish the dips we were given. Our dessert was also wrong. Overall we spent about $45 for two people, and ended up with not enough food for us. The food was okay, but i wouldn’t say it was worth it for the serving sizes.

Had the best experience here—the staff is so friendly and the food is delicious. I got the spicy tuna avocado roll and absolutely loved it. It’s among the freshest-tasting sushi that I’ve had in the area, highly recommend!!!

Definitely a great place for me to quickly pick up a fresh poke bowl. I highly recommend the Hawaiian Classic poke bowl. The food here tastes fresh and has a nice presentation.

Not a bad spot for a quick bowl or roll, however I am not sure if I would go back if I’m in town. The ervice was good and the employees friendly. The spicy tuna roll was average and the shrimp bowl was not as flavorful as I would have liked, but you can tell they are trying hard and they offered to make a new bowl for me.

The Mavi roll I had last night was filled with fried shrimp, crab, and cucumber. It was larger than I was expecting, and the I loved the quiet atmosphere, along with the booth for larger gatherings. The owner was friendly and talked to me and my friend about how he plans to develop the restaurant. A great experience.

Sushi, at a very basic level, is rice mixed with rice vinegar and usually some type of sugar. The sushi we ordered was just… rice. It wasn’t rolled very tightly and kept falling apart. To add fuel to the dumpster fire that is the food from this shop, we had to wait 45 min longer than they said it would be ready. I didn’t find it appetizing or fresh tasting at all. Anyone who wants sushi in this town should try ANY of the other establishments, but I especially enjoy the authenticity and flavors of Sushi Factory in the NRV mall.

Just noticed this place in downtown blacksburg so I figured I’d give it a try, being a sushi lover and poke bowl lover. By far the worst sushi roll I’ve had in Blacksburg and maybe anywhere in general. Didn’t taste fresh at all and the tuna was very warm. I also got the teriyaki chicken bowl and there was maybe two slices of green pepper and one slice of zucchini. The chicken had no teriyaki sauce on it and was very dry. Super disappointed especially for the high prices and low quality food. Do not recommend and will not be going back.
