Upon spontaneously dropping by Ortega’s Mexican Bistro in Hillcrest, San Diego, we were delighted to be quickly seated at a table for two. This restaurant is a short walking distance from the Hillcrest Hill Bed & Breakfast where we were staying. We arrived at 5 pm during happy hour (3-6 pm) and enjoyed delicious sangrias and tacos! The shrimp tacos were excellent and with two tacos and beans it was more than enough for dinner. Excellent service as well.
