Met relatives for dinner and was thinking about going to the Main Street area in Ventura. We just didn’t want to go deal with all the crazy traffic and parking issues, and we are glad that we decided to go to Orozco’s instead. This place is a GEM. The food is really great, staff is wonderful, and location is close to the beach. I am a chips and salsa connoisseur, and these were wonderful. The salsa was even served warm – never had that before. Dinner was served on large wooden cutting boards – very unique. Tacos were amazing and reasonably priced. Guillermo, the owner, came over and spent time with us – what a delightful person. We will be back and hope that everyone else decides to give them a try. Want to try the rib eye next time (saw others having it and it looks amazing).

Hands down, the best Cadillac Margarita I’ve ever had. The bacon wrapped shrimp was phenomenal! The owner was so nice and spent a little extra time at our table giving us some backstory on the dishes and giving us his recommendations. Everything was so good.

Coming from Bakersfield to this restaurant was a very humbling experience.. custumer service was amazing but the food was not seasoned at all … very nice plating and decor but I’ve never tried rice or beans with zero to almost no seasoning. I am Mexican and I’ve gone to a lot of mexican restaurants and I myself cook mexican dishes but this is obviously targeted to people with different tastes
