The food is usually very good. I have eaten here several times. However, they need to work on the service. Oh boy. I still go because I know I will get a good and authentic Jamaican meal, and I try to support my people. Order before you go to reduce wait time.

This worst restaurant I have been to, grave insult to your hard earn money, no customer service, poor serving of food, awful tasting food.

Got great service with a smile. Our only kid wanted to chase/catch his own chicken so they could cook it for him. I wish they would go back to their pre pandemic routine though.

I come here every other morning to get my porridge! It’s the best! The prices are really good as well.

If you call to ask for the owner. You have this one young lady that pretends she is the owner. I recently ask if they are hiring and she is going to tell me she is hiring smiling faces. Remember it’s my first visiting the restaurant. I was immediately left considering she didn’t know me and assumed that I am not able to provide exceptional customer service and to top it off customers were waiting so long for there meals and the lobby tables were a mess. The side door was open which can causes flies to come into the restaurant where food is prepared. So it would be a no. I left immediately seeing all of these things. Take the handling of food seriously. Can’t have a side door open where food is prepared.

Prices too dam high. The food is good but the ambiance is ugly. Terrible terrible customer service. And terrible service is an understatement. This place used to be packed with customers, but it was empty on a Saturday. Rice and peas are not the same as it used to be. They have only one size container (L) but they spread the food to make you think that you’re getting a lot, but it’s about a medium portion of food. The place has never been upgraded. It l looks old and out dated, which it absolutely is. Tighten up and fly right.

I love this place. I haven’t tried everything on the menu but judging by the phone orders and filled tables it must be good! My favorite however is the gunga pea soup on Wednesdays! It has great flavor and large pieces of meat! Got to call in or get there early for this delicious treat!

The food here is amazing! I am a fan of Caribbean food but I usually stick to the few dishes I know. My boyfriend convinced me to try the curry goat and I couldn’t believe how good it was! It fell right off the bone and the flavor was perfect. The owner was really nice too. It’s definitely the kind of restaurant I’d go out of my way for.
