We ordered takeout. First, the price was more than double compared to our favorite local Thai restaurant. Second, the ingredients were so bizarre. Avocado and zucchini in Massaman Curry? Yuck. Then, the tofu was not firm, it was silken. So basically, the entire dish was just wet mush. Third, we ordered scallion dumplings, and what we got was some weird mush, deep fried, and so oily we couldn’t even eat it if we wanted to. I seriously wish we didn’t order here, and we surely never will again.

Absolutely delicious Thai food. The establishment is BYOB, however, we have yet to dine in.

A beautiful restaurant where we had lunch. I had Pad Thai which is a normal dish you would find in a NYC Thai restaurant. I found the taste at Origin for this dish to be better than those I have eaten in New York. The design of the restaurant interior is beautiful. I would recommend this restaurant if you want to have a different experience for Thai cuisine.

This place is a gem, love it! In the heart of trendy Morristown, this is a great BYOB spot to meet friends or for date night. The décor is unique, eclectic and fun. It’s one of my favorite go to restaurants…. for appetizers try the Shrimp & Crabmeat Rolls, Crispy Pork Gyoza, and Shrimp & Scallop Dumplings. My go to entrees are Pan Seared Jumbo Shrimp, Pan Seared Tuna, Roasted Rack of Lamb, and Soft Shell Crabs (seasonal). The presentation and portions are excellent and consistent with exceptional sauces. There’s something for everybody and no one has ever been disappointed.

I have dined at this establishment multiple times within the past 5 years and I will say that it is nothing like the first few times and I came here. Tonight was my last time coming here as the food is okay but my biggest problem with the establishment is the staff here seem to be very miserable and didn’t even have the decency to greet my fiance and I. After we were seated the waitress came over to the table and asked us what do you want. I don’t know if they hate their jobs or what but their attitudes are the biggest thing for any diner.

Today was my first time dining at this restaurant. My boyfriend told me the food was good and he always had a good experience there. I was very surprised at how unwelcoming the restaurant staff was when we first entered the restaurant. There was no hello or how are you. She just took us to our table. She looked miserable and like she didn’t want to be there. However, when an Asian customer came in to get a to go order, the restaurant staff said hello and seemed happy to welcome the customer. I heard and saw it because we were seated one table away from the entrance of the restaurant. The waitress (another woman) came over to our table and didn’t even say hello either. She just asked us what we wanted to order. The food was ok however my boyfriend didn’t enjoy his meal since the chicken was dry. When we were leaving, the first restaurant staff that led us to our table, didn’t even say goodnight or bye when she walked past us. I will not return to this restaurant due to the simple fact that the customer service was horrible. It doesn’t take much to be welcoming and greet customers. Also, a smile doesn’t hurt either.

Absolutely excellent Thai restaurant, with a hint of French Fusion. Honestly one of the best restaurants in Morristown, but shockingly, never that crowded. The curry puff appetizer is always delicious, as is their Thai iced tea. They have the traditional Thai dishes but also more creative fare, like the amazing raw tuna pizza appetizer: a perfectly fried crispy pancake, topped with thin sliced raw tuna, with very mild wasabi cream cheese on the side to spread on top. Really delicious, and really one of a kind. They have several curries, and my frequent dining companion usually gets the yellow/golden curry, studded with chunks of sweet potato. The lunch menu has a bunch of great, filling salad selections; the salad with grilled shrimp came loaded with mango and strawberries(I hate when you order a salad and it is mostly greens with skimpy toppings, so getting this much fruit was a treat). From the outside this is not the prettiest or flashiest restaurant in Morristown, but the food and service absolutely never disappoint.
