Food was amazing. My first time trying bulgogi and now I want to come back and try another one tomorrow. I have the coconut shrimp appetizer as well. Everything was amazing. The environment and cleanliness was top tier. I highly recommend. Waitress was amazing as well.

Loved everything about this restaurant! Relaxed atmosphere and wonderful staff! The food was amazing and can’t wait to go again! I had the Bibimbap, egg drop soup, tofu fries and kimchi. My sons had the Bulgogi and Chicken Katsu. We loved all of it!

Very enjoyable dining. Food was really good. I had the beef noodles and rice. Also had the spicy Rangoon as an appetizer and it was very tasty. Emily was our server and she was very nice and was there whenever we needed something. I look forward to coming back

Oriental Spoon is a gem of a restaurant with an abundance of vegan options! Hubby and I stopped in yesterday and ordered two starters (Gimroll and Veggie Mandu) and two entrees (Mushroom Bulgogi and Tofu Bulgogi Noodle). Our server was super nice and knowledgeable. She was working the whole dining room alone while maintaining a smile and making sure all guests were checked on. All of our food came out hot and fresh. Oriental Spoon is a bit of a drive for us, but we are definitely looking forward to our next trip back.

Excellent experience. What the restaurant lacks in ambiance it more than makes up for with the food and service. It was my server’s first night but I would not have known if she hadn’t told me. She was very attentive and accommodating. I had the Veggie Mandu as an appetizer and it was flavorful with super crispy texture. For my main, I had the Spicy Pork Bulgogi. It wasn’t as spicy as I expected but it was flavorful and delicious. Now I know to ask for extra spice. The portions were large enough that I took half home for lunch tomorrow. Very enjoyable dining experience.

I’ve never had a bad meal here. It’s simply amazing with delicious, complex flavors. From the ramen to the bulgogi – it’s all fantastic.

Nothing particularly stands out about the place. I was hoping for a little more traditional food. It’s a mix/fusion place of New and Old ideas. The bulgogi had a texture and flavor. I was kind of shocked when the ragoon came out like a more traditional egg roll (and only 2 of them).

Best Korean food in Illinois, I especially love the hand-made crab Rangoon. Last time I went Emily was my server and she was nice and amazing at her job!
