Not your typical egg rolls which explains why when we visit the area we always stop and take 20-50 home to NC with us. They make them their selves with fresh pork & vegetables, mainly celery on Wednesday’s & Friday’s so if you want a big batch call to place your order. They also make their own Crab Ragoon and Duck Sauce which are both delicious. Other menu items are also delicious but the egg rolls are what bring us back every year.

I ordered the pu pu platter, and every part of it was fantastic. The best egg rolls I’vehad in years. The beef teriyaki, and boneless spare ribs were tender, and delicious. Perfectly cooks. The chicken wings were also Perfectly cooked. The crab rangoons had the perfect crispiness, and the filling had the perfect sweetness. The chicken fingers, and fried shrimp had the nicest batter. Perfectly light, and crispy. Even the duck sauce was perfect. I will be getting my Chinese food from here from now on.

Believe all the bad reviews from the past year. New ownership, tasteless food, fried rice that’s inedible, they couldn’t even get white rice right. Clearly not fresh. The salt and pepper jumbo shrimp for $17.95 was clearly breaded and fried sometime long before, and reheated, so the shrimp was wrapped in what seemed like stale, cold, detached pop tart pastry. The orange chicken was OK I guess.

Order dinner for new years…..paid 45$ two plates if food, order orange chicken, and general’s Gau’s. Gabe me two General gau’s. Then got 6 crab Rangoon and they were legit dark brown cause the used old oil. Honestly have eaten there since I was 15. 15 years later, and it’s absolutely horrible what I paid 45 for dinner . I could of gotten for 16 on the lunch special.. 1/5 stars is being generous

This was my families spot. Food was always hot delicious and definitely worth the $$$. Now I heard they changed hands but figured hey why would they change the food. Well now I know they did. The rice white or house is horrible. The chicken wings ( which were like yes man) now are spicy and nasty. Scallion pancakes are oily. chicken fingers are to much batter not any chicken. Very very disappointed. We lost Pini’s in this area and now no good Chinese. Sad and very disappointed

Their food used to be good but now the race is so bland it literally came with nothing in it. It was like Uncle Ben’s. The best thing on the menu is there chicken teriyaki. Everything else is eat at your own risk only if you’re drunk or stoned to death. If you’re in this area I recommend going to roses Chinese. It’s on Boston Ave in Medford right near Tufts. By the way I do not support this college they are extremely cheap and do not pitch in any money to the City of Medford to take care of the roads when they own most of the property in the city the very cheap a holes. But yeah they’re rice could be compared to sand from Revere Beach except the sand has more flavor…..

I used to love this place, but it is true, something has changed for the worse recently. Did it change owners to people who don’t care? Missed timing, food that tastes burnt and chemical laden, are just a few of the new developments that I agree on, from other recent reviews. So sad, they were so pleasantly just above average in the right ways, but now, they are just forgettable.

I got the combination D, assuming that like most if not every other Chinese restaurant at least all that I’ve eaten at pork fried rice would be included especially at $12, but it was just the appetizers you had to order rice separately which would put me at about $20 which in my opinion is a bit high for the quality of the food. Can order from Mays cafe and get pork fried rice with the same appetizers at the same price. Tried it and wouldn’t eat here again. The food itself wasn’t horrible but have definitely had better.
