I like to come here to get food , sushi was great and staff very nice I paid for $17 buffet so many option so many food and tasted was delicious i will come back again . The Owner so kind and funny too

What an amazing experience! The sushi was out of this world! The service was amazing and the Owner J came over and talked with us about the sushi. We can’t recommend this place enough! J you are an amazing owner and your restaurant is unbelievable! We can’t wait to go back!

I frequent Orient Pearl, but after my last experience I won’t be going back again. I usually always have a good experience with good food, but this past weekend we got takeout and I noticed a couple of new things. First, they now charge you a dollar to pay via credit card as opposed to cash. I understand fees, but the business should not penalize you for being a customer and paying with card, this is something the business should pay. Also, I got sushi and my tuna was grey and my avocado was hard and spotted brown. I couldn’t even finish it, and the next day it made me very sick. We also got pork fried rice, but instead of pork it was chunks of ham. It seems like the new owner is very cheap and trying to cut corners. I’ll happily take my business to Kume up the street because unfortunately I’m not going to pay for food that makes me sick and isn’t what we ordered. They should’ve kept things as they were.

The new owner J really tries his best to make this place a really nice place. He gives 110% commitment to the customers and it shows! The sushi is top notch and the waiters and waitresses are very nice and personable! Plus, the prices are very reasonable! J is doing great things and hopefully more great things to come!

been meaning to try because it’s under new ownership, and omg it was amazing!! the owner, J, was so kind and sat down and chatted with us at the end of our meal. our waiter was super attentive and even gave us a round of free shots of a drink he created. super welcoming atmosphere, everyone was really nice. also the food was delicious!! great tasting, huge portions, leftovers for days, all for a really great price! thank you J, we’ll definitely be back for more!

The new owner J has done an amazing job revamping this place. Food was fantastic, large portions of high quality products. Friendly and attentive staff, the owner J actually came and sat with us for a while to talk about how we feel about the restaurant and is a super kind and down to earth guy. Definitely becoming a regular here and will be sending all of my friends here as well! If I could give a 10 star I would!

J is doing an outstanding job turning the Orient Pearl back into a pearl dining establishment. Whether your taste is Chinese or Sushi, you will leave more than satisfied. The sushi quality, preparation and presentation we had just days ago rivals the best sushi I’ve had worldwide in large cities in Asia, US and Europe. Who could imagine such great food right down the street?
