In summary, the food and wine is very good.

While on vacation with family, we decided to visit Oceanside. To be honest, I’ll only go back strictly for this restaurant. Over waiter and food were awesome. Our waiter was able to answer all of our questions. He definitely was not lying when he said all the food was amazing. From our different meals, not one was lacking anything. Extremely flavorful, food came out quickly, plentiful, and customer service was superb. Next time I’m in San Diego, I will definitely be coming back.

Come here fairly often. Wine and food are excellent. We’ve tried several desserts and I know that’s all personal taste, but my wife and I have felt let down both times on the dessert front, especially for the price. We’ll keep coming back for the wine, food and music and save the sweet tooth for elsewhere.

Nice little wine bar deep in the heart of Downtown Oceanside. Indoor and outdoor seating, though the patio is much larger and more popular. Glasses of vino are around $12+. They have a large menu of food. We only tried the fried artichoke, which was very tasty but perhaps a little “too” fried. It was very crispy. Very pleasant staff.

I wish I had taken pictures. But I have to say the food was amazing, for an appetizer we had the Japanese sweet potatoes and these were the best I’ve ever eat, my boyfriend had the fish tacos and the heat was there and done very well, the chips were too crispy for his taste but hey, I throughly loved the shrimp and couscous bowl, with so many flavors complimenting each other you are in for a treat

Incredible! Hands down the best Spanish octopus dish (starter) my boyfriend and I have ever tried and I’ve been in the restaurant industry for 21 years! Tried the flight of 4 different wines of our choice and that paired nicely with the prosciutto and burrata starter dish as well as the mussels in the white sauce! YUM!!

Went here with a large group. Patio was really nice and the staff was contentious in setting up for our visit. However, their dated point of sale system couldn’t support individual tickets, so we had to divide our group into sub-groups of 4-5 folks and let each figure out how best to split the check. Also, we generally had to flag down staff for refills, ordering, etc which was irritating especially since they didn’t otherwise appear to be very busy. I’ve waited tables before, so I know large groups can be challenging, but that’s no reason to drop the ball on periodic checks to ensure everything is going well. They’d probably would have sold more if they had. That being said, no reason to believe this was the standard for any normal diner with a smaller group.

Great experience. Wine tasting was fun, liked the pinots and red blends. Mussels, filet mignon sliders and steak salad were very good. Service was excellent, very knowledgeable wait staff. Excellent live music as well.

The food and wine here is mediocre at best. The real problem though, is the owner. She is incredibly rude and disrespectful. Like several other restaurants, cafés, and wineries, they sometimes hang art (essentially an art show) featuring a single artist for a few weeks at a time. Unfortunately, the owner thought it was appropriate to scream at her employees, in front of customers, that she thought the current artist’s work was “cookoo”. She then said the art needed to come down immediately, just over a week before the scheduled and advertised art show.

I have been coming to this place since I moved here 3 1/2 years ago. I am also a member of ‘OWL’. I try to to come in twice a week for my free glass of wine & Dave is an excellent manager. I feel like I’m walking into ‘Cheers’ where they know you by name! Fun place to hang out with friends. They have great wines too! The flatbreads are delicious but my favorite is the roasted brussel sprouts! Yum.
