We eat out 3 times per week., This has been the most wretched of experiences. I ordered a rare steak which on their menu was red with a cool center. I got a steak with a hot pink center. When I sent it back I was informed that it was indeed rare and if I liked it bloody I would have to go elsewhere.

This is the best steak house in the area, and frankly I’d put it up against the best anywhere in the country. If you’re looking for a rib eye done right this is it. Excellent bourbon and wine selection, the owner and bar managers are both really friendly and run a great business.

I wouldn’t let a dog eat here, sat at 615 ate at 728. When I complained our steaks came out undercooked and my gf’s raw. The waitress whom was very polite and somewhat attentive apologized but talk about a waste of $95. Pretty pricy for raw beef if you ask me

Just shared dinner tonight with 2 other couples because it was Restaurant Week. Unfortuneately, we all left the Chop Shop with a bad taste in our mouth, so to speak. It took forever to get our appetizers from the set menu and even longer to get our meal. When dessert finally arrived, sans silverware to eat it with, that was the last straw! All night long we felt like 2nd class citizens because we were there for the $30 set menu. The restaurant was far from full, but when we complained about our 2&1/2 hour long meal, we were told it was because we were a party of 6. Six people? Give me a break! If you can’t handle a party of 6, maybe you shouldn’t be a waitress! At least you got your set 20% tip because we had no choice…We won’t be back, too many other good restaurants around. P.S.The food was OK but that’s not enough…

We (a party of 5) just got back from our first visit to the Chop Shop. Plain and simple, it was an awful experience. For starters, we reserved the night before for our seats on the opentable link on their site. One of our party members got there early and they claimed to have no reservation but “luckily” they had a table open(next to the door.) We ordered and waited an hour and a half for our food. During that time period, we noticed other tables being served with bread. We weren’t even offered bread so we asked for it because we all just got out of work. After about 15 minutes, give or take, we got the bread. Finally the food arrives after all that wait. The food was good. Small portion. Now was it worth the price? This party of 5 didn’t think so. Not one of us. We then waited a good length of time after we finished our meals to order dessert which we almost thought it was’t worth waiting for. Got the dessert, it was really good. Then came the tab. The servant gave the rudest remark when asked to split the tab. Never going there again. We put up with more than any person should ever have to when going out to a restaurant and still gave a decent tip.
