The service was honestly terrible. I ordered the chicken burrito and the presentation wasn’t bad at first. A burrito with a few pieces of salad a slice of tomato. But then I saw the hair. Honestly, I get it. Things happen, they don’t wear hairnets so I figured. I was originally going to take out the hair and eat around it, but when I pulled on it a lot more came out. It was cooked entirely into the burrito. I went back and showed it to them, and they said that’s impossible because only one person cooks and they don’t have long hair. Fair enough, but the strand was completely cooked into the burrito, there was no way for foul play on my end because it would’ve been obvious. They said they would cook another one, but I didn’t want another one since at this point I was annoyed and no longer hungry so I asked for a refund for just my burrito. They said no because I ate the other half of the burrito. I told them I wasn’t going to eat the burrito they remade so please don’t make it because I didn’t want it. The guy waved his hands at me and then finally someone said they would refund me. It was a terrible experience and I wouldn’t recommend this place. I also have a video of me pulling on the strand if anyone wants to see how it was cooked all the way into the burrito.

Gary at Open Seas deserves more than five stars!! He is so kind and in a speedy manner came back with my margarita that I was so happy to enjoy! He is very hospitable in the way he made sure I was comfortable and enjoyed my relaxation at the beach!

Awesome spot! Gary was incredibly helpful and his service was amazing. The safe also has a new bar that has some super refreshing drinks that I’d highly recommend! You can have food & drinks brought to you on the beach, and everyone’s service is phenomenal. I will definitely be back!

Gary is the best! Top service. Amazing personality, response time, and very accommodating. Open sea cafe is very convenient and the menu is delicious. Yumi makes nice, strong drinks. And if you come with the kids there’s cute things to do like play cornhole, rent bikes, volleyball and other activities.

While on a quick mini vacation to Miami, we decided to visit Crandon Beach.. 1st the beach is absolutely beautiful.. we sat under a palm tree on the beach. 2nd OpenSeas Cafe services the beach. Gary was the bestest!! That’s right, the bestest!! He brought us our chairs and food in a timely manner. He was also very nice and personable. Any request we had, he was very accommodating as best as he could be. I would highly recommend going here while on vacation or just in general.
