This is a hidden GEM. I’m sad I hadn’t discovered it sooner. I’ve been here a couple of times now, and while I’ve tried only a handful of lunch items, my go to is the Toasted Brie sandwich (add Turkey). SO GOOD. I can’t rave about it enough. The ambience is also always nice as the dining area is in a beautiful naturally sunlit area. I always grab a sweet treat for dessert before I go! Put this place at the top of your list for lunch spots in Rochester!

We frequent Open Face often for a delicious lunch. The food has always been consistent and the specials are fresh. Unfortunately today was our last visit due to the sad lack of customer appreciation. We spent over 50 dollars on lunch including a bottle of apple juice for our toddler. I asked for a cup with lid to make it easier for her to drink. The cashier informed me she would have to charge me TWENTY FIVE CENTS for this request. I know this is a small price to pay but after purchasing lunch for four people they seriously couldn’t afford to give us a cup???? So disappointed by this and will not be back.

I can’t say enough amazing things about this little sandwich shop. It is a hidden gem. I have celiac disease and I have not gotten sick here once. They offer GF and are very careful and considerate. The staff are very sweet. From the open face pea mash sandwich to the turkey sandwich there is something for everyone. Also, the cookies are to die for and they have a great peanut butter chocolate chip GF cookies. Oh, and the soup! I could rave for days about this place.

This is a gem in the Eastman house. You don’t have to go to the museum to eat here. I was here during the peak of lunch. The sandwiches were very good. They have vegan and vegetarian option plus gluten free and kids options. If you’re in the area I recommend trying them.

One of the most, if not the most excellent lunch spots in rochester. Everytime I leave I can’t help but think about when I can get back next. Atmosphere and ambiance: Delightful. The entire design from top to bottom is just gorgeous with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the courtyard and the big neon sign, it’s purely magical. It’s so often rare that with great decor comes quality food and this place checks all my boxes in the taste department. The sandwhichs are to die for, they have pickled beets for health nuts like me and the finest tea assortment! Do not get me started on the locally baked desserts! Whoever created this place is the exact genius we need in Rochester. It sets such a high bar it’s hard to want lunch anywhere else. The hours can be tricky but whenever I can make it here, it’s my first choice
