We stopped by for dinner, and ordered a Aloha plate. This came with barbecue chicken ,teriyaki chicken, rice, and a salad. I didn’t care much for the teriyaki chicken but the barbecue chicken was really good. They have many different items you can choose from. This is the first time I’ve been to Ono Hawaiian BBQ, the structure is medium size with tables and chairs inside. The service was friendly and courteous and we got our meal in a timely manner. The parking lot is a shared space with other businesses. The handicap stalls are close to the front entrance.

Found this little tie mixed in with my macaroni. Maybe it was a bag tie and it fell in there, accidents happens. Maybe if they can be more careful next time especially if I’m paying $14 a combo.

Gave it 4 100% everytime I mean everytime I go here no one is paying attention at the register. Food is great maybe they’re busy usually doesn’t look like it… Just good food and in door seating parking is in a plaza so plenty of it.

Chiken combo it’s great! comes with cabbage veggies, macaroni salad, white rice, chicken teriyaki, katsu chicken, and sauces, very tasty and good price. Friendly staff, wait time can be lengthy, and the location is great, there’s always parking.

The food was great but they reallly need more staff our food was getting cold waiting to be bagged up because the person taking the order had a bunch of people and seems as if she is barely learning the menu. Most of the customers were getting annoyed of the wait. They really need to train their new hires better. Other than that I enjoyed the food

Don’t know why I had never tried them before, I lived in Hawaii for 7 years and loved getting Hawaiian plate lunches, came back to the states and really missed them. Last week I tried one in Pomona and loved it it’s almost exactly like the plates you get in Hawaii(only thing missing is the Kim, yes that’s a Korean side but, the Hawaiians have adopted it into their meals). So yesterday I gave it a second try at the one in la puente, it was exactly like the first one.
