I ordered a $5 ravioli and a $10 broccoli rhaab with sausage. He practically threw the box at me and said “$20”. I asked what was in the box and he yelled at me and said “it’s what you ordered!” I asked why it came to $20 and he said “who are you! I don’t know you!” I went to my car and got $2 more for water and a soda. He said “I’m done with you!” I left the $2 on the counter and walked out. My ears are still ringing from the music he was blasting. Very rude and messed up my order without giving me a chance to ask or explain. I’ll never go back! BTW, I ended up with 2 eggplant dishes I didn’t order!

The owner screams and yells at people. Hes nuts. If you ask for anything extra he will kick you out. My family has been coming here for 15 years, This guy is a total whackjob and he shut down for a while and opened back up. When he re opened he was a completely different person. Last 15 times i got rolls they were raw on the inside still. Last time i got lasagna it was not even layered and the pasta was 3 peices stuck together with no meat or sauce. Only certain special people get the number to call ahead, he doesnt let any one call. If you are a women he will flirt with you and offer free food, so i guess theres a bonus if you are a woman, but not a man. He is an extremely spiteful person and will intentionally ruin your food if you ask for an extra ingredient making it not even edible. Anytime my aunt orders food its amazing but if I order the food he will purposly screw it up. This guy is a whackjob, hes not what he used to be its terrible now.

Pizza slices horrible. One worker which means wait everytime, also his attitude is on 10 claiming from being overwhelmed. Slow down sir or hire more help. Theyve been there many yrs since i was a kid, use to be good … not so good these days . Wont b going back based off the attitude. Customer service matters.

Their pizzas are excellent, especially their fresh tomato pizza, which is my favorite. Their spices are just right and you can choose among different crusts (thin, thick, etc) Their other items are also good. (I really enjoyed their stuffed het peppers.) I hope they reopen soon since they have been closed for quite a while. We have a number of pizza places in West Haven but ONLY THE BEST really is one of the best.

Love this place. Been going here for years and it just keeps getting better. I’ve never had a bad meal. True Italian cuisine. I highly recommend this place. The chicken, provolone, and roasted red peppers stuffed bread is the bomb and one of my favorites. The staff is always personable and friendly. The pricing is fair. Definite five stars.
